its ridiculous but maybe he was expecting AEW to go along with multiple Jeff f***ups like every other company did?

we all did shit on AEW for keeping Jeff around after the drunk driving thing but this reeks of being entitled and saying hey these other companies bent over backwards for at least TWO duis!

Matt has to realize that their time's been up and it's ok. Yall were used as well as you should have been given Jeff's issues. It is what it is. Everybody can't have a Christian and Edge level push no matter how legendary you are. The reason guys like that get their pushes is that their own demons have been handled and they can still go at an incredible level. Keep it a buck. That ain't the Hardys.

Jeff can have no complaints about how he was used post DUI. He kept his job and, sure while jobbing mostly, was featured quite a bit on tv.

And surely Matt knows that. Look at the level of ring work AEW deliver, he surely knows he can't hang much higher then where he was booked at

Matt Hardy was basically allowed to write his own stories for most of his run, and he managed to do nothing but pull people down. Nobody who he worked with- Private Party, Ethan Page, Butcher & Blade, Dark Order, Hangman- came out of a feud/relationship with Matt better than they started out.

Like, we can complain about the 'Jericho Vortex' all we want, and there are valid complaints to be had, but at least Jericho has actually elevated and put over some people like Daniel Garcia, 2point0 and Orange Cassidy way back in the early days.

Was Matt also frustrated with how they used Jora Johl by having the man give a promo about how much being a Matt Hardy fan meant to him so he was willing to look past Matt's "change of attitude (heel turn)" because the only way he could achieve his dream of was working with Hardy, only to be used to eat pins for a group seemingly made to eat pins?

When Matt did shit that got over, they pushed him. And then he stopped getting people over and started dragging people down.

Jeff got a hero's welcome, and then f***ed up.

They're both broken down as shit, and I am terrified that they're only a few years away from being one of those photos of Volkoff or somebody wrestling a guy in a gym on some mats because they didn't get a ring.
