Jeffery Nero Hardy you are privileged and fortunate enough to have a job and access to catering after the shit you’ve pulled. If them boys think hunter would use ‘em better, Nah Nah as La Knight would say.

Their lack of self awareness is pretty bad. Matt can barely move and Jeff's body is being held together by wishes and duct tape...and that's not even getting into the 24 "second" chances Jeff has had in the last 20 years.

It's almost like you got arrested yet again for a DUI and lost any sort of trust for doing something cool.

Jeff should be happy he was brought back at all, it seemed like they were gearing up for a tag team title run until Jeff got in trouble with the law again.

Hunter wouldve definitely given him another chance(remember when he was defending Dream before his release?)

Good god...the lack of self-awareness from both of em. Jeff could've and should've been fired the second AEW caught wind of his last DUI.If anything AEW have been too kind, too accommodating of them, and have given them way more bites of the cherry than they should've got.

Them speaking out like this publicly and airing their grievances almost makes me think they’re gonna be involved in the devil group. If Britt is indeed part of it, you have a few people talking about not being pleased with how AEW is using them.

So many wrestlers just don't have the self-awareness to know when their time is up.
I swear Matt was saying way back in 2017 when they returned to WWE that is was their final run together. They got a big tag title win at Wrestlemania then had a nice feud and dropped the titles to The Bar. Then all of a sudden it's oh now let's have a final run in AEW. If they get fired from AEW they'll want another final run in WWE or if they don't take them back then a final run in TNA. It'll never be enough. They'll just keep going until people stop booking them.

While I get that stance I also see like why you wouldn't want the Broken Hardys since they basically exist in their own universe separate from everything else. The segment where he debuted and the following ones were bad too. I think by the time AEW got ahold of it, it was cooked. The only promotion it worked in was TNA and they went all in. And Borash produced the segments in TNA from what I recall, so I think he might have been the magic touch.

im sorry what. This ain’t a wwe vs aew thing, it’s a Jeff’s a liability thing. When wwe released him, whole bunch of people were giving jeff the benefit of the doubt. When tK brought him in, I and many were like “BAD IDEA”. You reap what you sow. If WWE touches them after this it’s as purely legends, maybeeeee the one off here and there. The Booker t treatment. They’re f***ing done. Jeff again is lucky to have a job. He should count his blessings. Matt needs to transition into some sort of backstage role cuz the rides over my guys.

That wasnt my point, all I said was that Hunter wouldve given him another chance because he isnt as strict as Vince and he could get something out of Jeff just like how he and Nick managed to bring back Punk despite his issues

There’s a fine line between guys like Ricky Morton, Billy Gunn and Sting who keep wrestling because they love it and to help out their kids/the next generation and guys like Ric Flair and Matt Hardy who will seemingly curl up and die if they’re not still being booked.

Both WWE and AEW seem to have real blind spots when it come to wrestlers in tag teams with their brothers and DUIs.
The Hardys have had a few chances at matches in AEW and they haven't shown that they're anything but a nostalgia pop. If AEW were still doing the house shows, they're the guys you'd advertise and get to do a low stress party match. They're not going to set Dynamite or Collision on fire and the sooner the Hardys figure that out the better.

And Borash produced the segments in TNA from what I recall, so I think he might have been the magic touch. Borash was definitely a huge part of that. WWE grabbed him up the moment they could because of his talent. It paid off big time during the pandemic iirc. So many wrestlers just don't have the self-awareness to know when their time is up. I swear Matt was saying way back in 2017 when they returned to WWE that is was their final run together. That's been my issue. Sting has helped spotlight Darby the past 3 years. Matt's had Private Party and Ethan Page with him and he's put them in his shadow. You can tell who wants to help younger talent and who wants the spotlight on a lot of these guys

Matt just wants to live out his Broken Universe schtick so I say let them go and let him dwell on whatever sap he can muster from that three and TNA would likely bring them back for that...atleast Matt not so much Jeff.
And TNA is literally the only televised company where it even remotely works.

They're expecting to be treated like Edge and Christian but the reality is that Edge and Christian don't have any of the issues they have. No arrests, no wild insane comments, always known to do business when needed.
Take what you can get.

Both Matt has been passable at best, but nothing great on the mic in a while, Jeff has never been a mic guy, and both of their best work was falling off of high shit that they physically can’t do anymore. Nobody wants to watch Matt hobble around the ring or Jeff winch in pain every time he hits a swanton.

Think it's been mentioned but the difference between the Hardys and E&C are that the Hardys never evolved their in ring style. Like I remember a little before Matt left WWE he did a long post on twitter talking about how his hip was destroyed because of his mid rope leg drop he kept doing and that because of how beat up he was WWE wanted him to become a producer. What's sad/funny (depending on how you look at it) is that Tony was ready to give them a push and was clearly fanboying a bit when Jeff came in, but poor performances in the ring and the DUI made Tony lose all interest in pushing them.

Both Adam Copeland and Christian have done a lot to evolve their style to work around the wear and tear and injuries (in Adam's case, a near career-ender). The Hardys never really did that besides the Broken gimmick, and that only has so much shelf life.
