Good riddance.
He's a really good worker, but there's something about him overall that just never clicked with me

He's a really good worker, but there's something about him overall that just never clicked with me He never clicked in WWE either, literally outside of CMLL he's never gotten over and I'm starting to wonder if he got over due to his group more than him... A guy that can move the way he does, that has credible size, something so many of the guys from Lucha have never had that he does...that still can't get over, he's just missing something.

Me rn: "This makes sense and is likely a way to transition Bryan from an active wrestler to more officially one of Tony's right hand men" Me in a year: "OK so maybe the Danielsonverse where Danielson wins every title and has bullied most of the roster into quitting for real has some roots tying back to giving him the power here" Danielson now: "I'm just a small part of this committee haha. I'm not unilaterally doing anything, and when this crisis has passed I will step down." Danielson next year: "I AM THE COMMITTEE." He demands everyone call him Bryan XIV, The Sun Dragon. "L'ETAT, CEST MOI!"

And for once, I don't blame creative for not knowing what to do with him, because they sure tried to make him a thing

I mean maybe that's it, but his look, size and skill, even if he is a bland promo should be a credible uppercard player. But he just is missing something and whatever it is it tanks his entire presence. And whatever it is he's missing, RUSH has it in spades because he got over in .2 seconds.

Andrade is talented but he'd fit better in a mid card role. Problem is the dude seems to buck at this and then gets pissy. I get the attitude that you should always aim as high as you can, but at a certain point there has to be a realization that some companies are only going to push you so far.

Honestly just let Andrade go now. He doesn't want to be there and adds absolutely nothing.

Given how many people AEW signed seemingly for no reason beyond that they were available, I don't think it's exactly unreasonable for some of them to be upset they aren't getting used more.
At the same time, haven't seen Miro, Thunder Rosa, Andrade, etc. showing up on the Indies, in Mexico, in Europe, etc.
If it's about getting a chance to perform and get noticed, drop your rate to something they can afford and give those places a shot. Tony doesn't want to give you the time away, then you've got some leverage.
Otherwise, maybe just be stoked you're getting paid to do nothing.

It's great to want to be a Hogan, Flair, Cena or Austin, but wrestling will always need Arn, Duggan, Mr Perfect and Miz. The problem shared by a lot of wrestlers and a lot of fans, if we're being honest with ourselves, is that "midcard" has become this dirty word that is somehow synonymous with "being wasted". Wrestling needs midcard talent just as much, if not more than main eventers

Yeah that's a huge part of it, if he looks and sounds bored then that's what people will feel watching him. I don't think it's a coincidence that most of my favourites often look like they're having a blast. Him working gcw is going to be so weird, not like he has to so it suggests he wants to, maybe he'll show something new but I don't have high hopes.

Miro would have been a maineventer in 1987 unfortunately for him it's not 1987. Miro is basically a guy who could be a maineventer if he wasn't so idiotic about the things he wants to do. I think that he sees himself as Batista but in reality he's Batista after his first run. Or maybe these guys feel like if they are gonna be midcarders they'd rather be WWE midcarders than AEW midcarders, who knows. For me though Andrade is even worse than Miro, Andrade is basically perfectly in position to a credible upper midcard talent. He has the size and skill to be able to believably beat or hang with anyone on the roster. He appeals to the latino demographic and if you found something he got hot in he could hold the belt for a short period of time... Frankly neither of these guys are half as all around talented as Hennig or Rude were and they worked midcard for mostly their whole careers.

Yeah if there's one guy who wants out that Tony should just put on a bus already it's Andrade. He blatantly doesn't want to be there anymore and there's nothing he can do that can't be better done by Rush. Grass always seems greener but I doubt things will be much better for him in WWE.

Yep, Andrade and Miro would both be perfect as an occasional midcard title holder/gatekeeper to the main event.

And, like, I don't mean to pigeonhole him, but as far as Latino stars go, he's gonna be behind at least Dragon Lee, Santos, Priest, and Dirty Dom in the pecking order if he goes back to WWE. Is that what he wants?
