Also, if there's an NDA built into this employee handbook that may or may not exist, that would mean Punk would've needed to sign it, yeah? Which means his entire rant at the scrum would've been a violation of said NDA.
So assuming everything New and Hausman are saying is true (which I sincerely doubt), then that just means Punk is guilty of breaking even MORE rules than he actually did, and AEW was still completely justified in firing him, AND would possibly open up the doors for a lawsuit.

This Stephen P New seems like as much of a doofus as Vic Mignogna's lawyer. He’s the dude who got the guy who actually trademarked Yeet the bag in the settlement with WWE as well as some other cases. Dude is just very much a lawyer who just really likes being a wrestling lawyer and the spotlight. Like thing with Jericho is literally free advertising for him, he knows that. |
