That was my guess the entire time. Either Punk himself, a friend he knew from WWE, or someone he became buddies with in AEW. With these sorts of people, the loudest accusations are often projections.

Yeah, we've known this for a long time. They've all come out and said that no member of the Elite was the source. And there didn't need to be a source, the moment Punk to AEW rumors started people were wondering what was gonna go down with Colt.
