CHRISTIAN CAGE - He has proven himself top-title material over at TNA, but WWE never thought of him higher than that of the punchline of a joke. Ass Cream aside, it seemed like WWE gave him a "push," but with such an angle that was doomed to fail.
With WWE's problems, they should have at least tried to resign Cage when his TNA contract went up. Instead, Cage resigned. I guess WWE rather have another Edge/Batista and Cena retaining main event!
Their loss, and TNA's gain...and imagine this great Triple Threat Title Match we could get in the near future at a TNA PPV:
AJ Styles vs Christian Cage vs Rob Van Damm. Mark hard folks.
"The Fallen Angel" CHRISTOPHER DANIELS - Anyone give me a good reason why WWE dropped the ball on him? The man in ROH and TNA, he would have been a superstar in the making in the WWE midcards.
"The Sensational" AJ STYLES - Him too please?
BRYAN DANIELSON - The New non-British Regal?

By my understanding they reached out to Bryan Danielson, and he has some strong supporters in the E, but he turned them down cause he doesn't want to to it yet. Same with A.J. Styles, he turned them down.
I don't know what it is with Daniels, I know he's appeared on WWE television a few times. But I agree with Christian.
Another wrestler they've missed the boat on is Sting, just for one match (at wrestlemania?) is all they need. I think he's the only high profile wrestler to never work for Vince McMahon.

Well, Danielson is going the Harry Smith approach, which might be the smart thing to do. Unless I'm wrong, Styles rejected WWE because of his morale objections to its past programming (or maybe he realized he would be wasted, maybe both.) Then again, I give props to Sting. He's never said it, but I think he just wants to stay as the one WCW hero who didn't have to go to work for Vince after WCW died....which is nice. Would love a Undertaker/Sting PPV fight, but still..... Another guy I would add is William Regal. He was hot as the Intercontinental champion, but WWE didn't think he was more than that. A pity, since he would be the brawler non-North American of the title picture. And hey, if WWE was actually serious about that now-dead "International" brand, Regal as WWE Champion would have maybe helped it....or at least sell more tickets in UK.

If Christian would have stayed at WWE he would have been made world champ. But whatever, its his loss.
WWE did definitely miss the boat on Hakushi though. You get a talent like him and then end up jobbing him out to Barry Horowitz, I mean come on!

If it's an E missed the boat thread, then Raven must be mentioned.

AJ Styles, who didn't sign because, from what I understand, he didn't want the heavy road schedule taking time away from his family life, which I completely admire.
Matt Morgan. Never has a guy with so much talent had it wasted as badly and as quickly. Probably the best big man in years, and he had a run in WWE that lasted all of 5 months if you take both of his runs together.

Can't believe I forgot Raven, yeah. From Johnny Polo to random hardcore wrestler on Heat.
Completely botched him.

Matt Morgan. Jim Cornette had him pegged to headline Wrestlemania one day and they give him a dumb-as-hell stuttering gimmick to ruin any chances of that.

Raven
DDP
Sean O'Haire - Maybe
Matt Morgan - The stuttering gimmck did him no favors
Nick Dinsmore - Eugene isn't the way to go really.
Vader - Ok what happened here? How could they possibly mess this one up??

Just for the record while the IWC generally has a hard on for Raven the rest of the WWE fans could careless about the guy. Besides by the time he had his second run in the WWE he was so beaten up he had nothing left. I doubt anyone in the WWE is crying any tears over how they handled Raven nor should they.

I heard D'lo Brown had a good future ahead of him if he didn't paralyze Droz. He was super over when he similutaneously held the IC and Euro title.

Raven, for sure. He started off feuding with Jerry Lawler and never really recovered.
Tazz.
Justin Credible, who I think is very underrated.

Bam Bam Bigelow, You got to agree, they had him feuding with a midget and LT. When he went to ECW, where he was used right he was a monster.
