Raven. Wow, I can't believe they screwed up with him. there have been many.. but based on the wwe's style of programing (character first before wrestling) then there is no one more under used than raven

Curt Hennig Rick Steamboat Charlie Haas Shelton Benjamin Vader Christian Ted DiBiase Kerry Von Erich ok while they didnt become the main champ many of these men had large pushes (and back in the day where being THE champ happened to only a small few) were in the federation for many years, and held an IC belt... hardly a missed boat when in upper mid card for a long time

Ultimo Dragon. Lets forget the fact that he's pretty dope in the ring, HIS NAME IS ULTIMO DRAGON. With a name as sweet as that, how can you fail?

AJ Styles first that came to mind. He's small by WWE standards, but they have taken small guys and made them stars. AJ will have a following forever.

Scott Hall.
Should have had the Triple Crown.
In his day Hall could do no wrong. He could have been one of the big 'Es most memorable champions if they did.

Raven....one of the best heels EVER, and yet his high point in WWE was destroying Moppy. (sigh)
Tommy Dreamer....He IS the audience....if you think about it. Just a normal guy trying to bust out a living in a sport of giants. That is what made his (REAL) ECW run so great......when Tommy would suffer, you FELT it. Now, he's a jobber for the company name he helped make.
Shane Douglas......Once again, AWESOME heel......the sad thing is Mr. Kennedy is basically playing the "Franchise" character (which, he does VERY well, don't get me wrong, but still.....)
Goldberg......was totally undercut for most of his WWE run. Of course, so were MOST of WCW's roster/characters upon coming to WWE, so......
Taz(z)......Heyman was right.....Taz was a MONSTER in ECW....he became an annoying announcer guy.
the NWO.....some "cancer," huh?
But, I think Vince McMahon and some of the higher ups in WWE consider themselves the only REAL wrestling company, and their ideas/wrestlers the only REAL ones.....hence, why they've mostly crapped out on other people's stars/characters.
Homegrown guys WWE have hoed out....
Christian (Cage).....excuse the guy for not being a steroid monkey. I'll bet WWE wishes they had more guys like Christian in their main event right about now.
Val Venis.....D'Lo Brown.....Gangrel......a lot of the Russo era guys got Jobbed ruthlessly upon Russo/Ferrera's exit from WWE.....wretsling promoters are REAL mature, aren't they?
Just Joe.....I thought that character had promise.....they had Austin punk him out and he was rarely heard from since.
Hmmm, I'm sure I'll think of more.

If I'm not mistaken no one has mentioned Test. From what I understand he was supposed to have been World Champ in 98-99. But once HHH destroyed him in matches he lost all credibility.
And Shane Douglas definitely got a bad deal when he was the Dean. Obviously the WWF had big plans for him. He ran over the 1-2-3 kid and Hakushi. He beat Razor Ramon before being made to look ridiculous all of a sudden. It sucks that he had problems with the Klique cause if they had just learned to get along I truly believe he would have been a main eventer there until he decided to retire.
Also no one's mentioned Billy Gunn. He was a great looking guy with a cocky attitude, had great ring music, and was feuding with the Rock. After Billy had to kiss that big girl's dairy air it went downhill from there. If they let him beat The Rock, perhaps he would have gotten over and been a main eventer as a singles guy.
Another guy I really liked was Evan Karagis. He looked like a chippendale, could do decent highspots. If they had wanted to work together I believe Karagis could have been a strong mid carder with a strong female following like the Hardys.
And yes they blew it big time with Sean O Haire when he was doing the right and wrong character. He could have been friggin awesome.

I don't understand why people are crying that Raven wasn't used well in the WWE. If the rumors are true, I don't blame Vince for not pushing the man as I don't my kids to be influenced by pot through the people I work with.

Mike Awesome and Sean O'Haire ` Mike Awesome had major heat with Paul Heyman at the time, which was the reason why he got released. Alot of the misuse comes from politics, and sometimes the wrestelrs themselves contribute on why they weren't utilized.

True, but not everybody can be a maineventer and the belts being hotshotted everymonth(only way for the title to be passed around to everyone) would seriously hurt the credibility of the belts. Curt Hennig World title run would be nice, but he is hardly misued, especially since Warrior and Hogan could draw 5 times amount of money he could.

That's his choice not Vince's. Maybe if Vince didn't want his kids badly influenced he shouldn't had involved them in the wrestling business. That's why his dad didn't want him involved.

This happened in 93 when Shane was still a teenager. No other company would try to promote a guy who has been corrupting the bosses son, so why should Vince feel guilty?

I know people hate Test, but lets look at this. Way over during the HHH married Steph phase. I always liked his look and moveset. Big man athletic, and in a fued with HHH. He could have had a good championship run that the fans would have bought and instead ofmaking him look strong they buried him. I say they dropped the boat on Head Cheese

Some of the names mentioned are really reaching. Just because a guy wasn't given the world title, doesn't mean they were misused. If you want the title to mean something, not everyone can have it.

Shane McMahon was 23 years old in 1993. That's even above US's draconian drinking age law. Vince shouldn't blame Raven for Shane's trying marijuana. Like I said he knows what the wrestling business is like if he doesn't want his son involved in it he shouldn't have him as part of the company.
