Bad News Brown and Bam Bam Bigelow. I didn't give Bad News much thought until after he died, as he was before my time, but in retrospect, he could of been a huge draw as a heel champ.
Bigelow is someone I've always thought should of been pushed stronger. He's big, he can wrestle, and he's over. What the hell else do you want?

Even though he was older at the time, it still bothers me how the WWE used Diamond Dallas Page. The guy took a big pay cut just to be a part of the invasion angle, and was turned into a stalker who got pinned by the Undertaker's wife. By the end of his tenure in the WWE, he was a jobber who always smiled. I'm not saying he should have been champion, but he should have been one of the focule points of the Alliance.

The Steiner Brothers, entirely. One of the most awesome tag teams of the modern era, and the WWF had them but depushed them in favor of goofs like The Quebecers and Men On A Mission. I'll never understand why they did that, must have been some backstage crap or an injury I never heard about.

There's a few that come to mind. . .
RVD: The fact that he just started to get a push last year is just assinine. The guy never got pushed and still would get top 3 pops of the night. WWE burned money there.
Charlie Haas first stint in WWE: He had the look, the skill and was decent on the mic. I dont understand why he got de-pushed after WGTT broke up.
Raven: 'Nuff said. Why make him a bag lady?
Dean Malenko: The man should have been a great IC champ
Chris Jericho: The man should be a multi-time World Champ. Even his latest interviews over the CB murders, he oozes charisma on the screen.
Any decent crusierweight: God forbid they dont wrestle a traditional WWE style match
Gail Kim, Victoria and Ariel: Three women that are hot, and can wrestle better than a lot of the guys. Gail could have been a cash cow because of her Asian decent. Opens up a whole new market IMO.
The Big Show: This guy should have been the ultimate monster heel. Not a guy crapting out a bean burrito for comedy.
Lance Storm: Wrestle Crap has covered this screw up enough
Two guys that were on my list, but isn't anymore due to his time in TNA:
Christian. He's been given all the time in the world to succeed in TNA, but he has proven that all he'll ever be, is a good upper-middle card perfromer. He isn't main event material (especially as a heel).
Kurt Angle: I thought it was moronic to make this guy a cowardly champion who just escaped defeat in title defences. Now in TNA, with his new character, he's another guy who is just an upper mid-carder, not main event material

Anytime you give a guy named Raven an entrance theme with CROWS you're not trying hard enough.

Raven was handled well up until the Invasion. After that, it just got lazy.

I remember him, but what was his deal? I never understood what his storyline was outside of being a big, well dressed black dude. Any help?

Jeez, they did NOT miss the boat on Hughs.
He's a douchebag for what he did to DDP.

This is from memory, but I think he was brought in as a bodyguard for "The York Foundation." The heel stable that turned Terry Taylor into Terence Taylor "The Computerized Man of the 90s" and Tommy Rich into Thomas Rich. Was, before that, the impetus for turning Mike Rotundo from a ship's captain into Michael Wallstreet and, eventually, in the promotion up north into Irwin R. Shyster... I... R... S!

Hughes basically no sold DDP and made him look bad in front of his hometown, then showed up to DDP's hometown party as if nothing had happened.

Completely untrue. He was easily in the best shape of his career during that run. Near the end the guy almost had a six pack. Go find his first match with Punk, which was just when he left WWE. Or his first TNA appearances. He was in amazing shape. Hell, last December I got an itching to rent some old PPVs. On the show that had the 2MPT taking on the Brothers of Destruction as the main event (instead of the Hardyz ), the hardcore match between Raven and Rhino was easily the most impressive match IMHO. They did miss the boat with Raven. They missed it with Christian (who apparently LOVES the TNA schedule, so WWE would not have been able to resign him anyways). I don't know why they did not sign Daniels, but I suspect it might have been the reason that they could not sign Styles or Joe (i.e., signing with the WWE would initially be a pay cut). The one that they really missed the boat on was Vader. If it were not for HBK's refusal to job, Vader would have won the title at Summerslam and went on to have a run as a monster heel that all the faces would gun for. Instead, we got crap. That is a lie. Vader was never going to get the win over HBK at Summerslam. Or are you thinking about Survivor Series 96? Vader was indeed schedule to win the WWF title from HBK, however they gave it to Sid instead (the next PPV was named “It’s time” and Vader wasn’t even in the main event). At that time Sid was one of the most over wrestlers in the WWF, because of his gimmick. He was a face but acted like a heel, something that wrestling fans wanted for years. I think the wrestler that the WWE missed the boat on the most was Jake the Snake Roberts. I watched his old promos and I can not understand why he never won the World title. A Wrestlemania match between Hogan and Roberts could have made a ton of money.

Roberts would of made for a great world champ, but he was over without having the belt. I'd rather they kept it as is, than jobbing him out to Hogan constantly like DiBiase was.

Samoa Joe will likely eventually be in WWE. We'll know then.
They missed the boat with Albert, in that he was a quick big man and Test was holding him back.
Now that Albert is shaved, I just like him more.

A Wrestlemania match between Hogan and Roberts could have made a ton of money. They actually did a Hogan/Roberts feud at house shows in the 80's. However, heel Roberts was getting more face pops than Hogan, so they nixed the angle without ever bringing it to TV. At the time, Hogan was the money draw, and there was no way they were going to let Roberts out-pop Hogan on TV or PPV.
