Exactly. Really, Carlito is scary good, but the WWE Style is so beneath him that he doesn't feel challenged. And that combined with continually jobbing and participating in crappy storylines wouldn't sit too well with me, either. Any halfway talented wrestler can do just fine with the so-called "WWE Style. It's just wrestling with no piledrivers and shooting star presses. Agreed Why are there people still defending him? He sucks ass it shows it everytime he wrestles. Blaming it on WWE style is a lame excuse for his poor performance. |

He would need a huge gimmick change to be even considered for the main event, a lot of which was mentioned already such as theme music and a haircut/change in ring attire.
If he goes to TNA, he could be called Copeatic Carribbean Carlos.

His ring attire really sucks.
It's really shallow, but that's the first thing that turned me off to him.

First and foremost, I think he music must be changed. It just sucks what little heat Carlito actually gets.
But the rest is up to him. What point him in a high profile match if he doesnt make anything out of it? There are folks out there like Kennedy and MVP and even Lashley for crying out loud who constantly watch old tapes and often ask for criticism of their in ring work. You dont hear anything about Carlito studying old Ric Flair tapes or anything.

He stopped caring after the face turn, which had the POTENTIAL to be good with that Orton feud, but they really dropped the ball.

but that would counter act his gimmick of being cool. i always thought he pulled off his cool gimmick well. i didn't realize it made him lazy. True, he's "cool" but it'd help him to show him lose his cool and go wild on someone. The Backstabber is still a great finisher for him. I hate that name I wish they'd call it a Caribbean Surfboard or something. Backstabber sounds so generic, like anybody can do it. |
