Just kind of curious/maybe this will hit people with some nostalgia.
For me:
It was the beginning of 1999:
WWF: Mankind had just won the title the previous Monday, I watched the replay of it on Superstars that Sunday as my first taste of WWF.
IC: Ken Shamrock
European: X-Pac
Hardcore: I think Road Dogg
Tag Team: Shamrock and Bossman
Light-Heavy:Gillberg, although I had no clue what he had was an actual championship until he wrestled HHH the following fall and the announcers mentioned "this isn't for the Light heavyweight title".
Women's: Sable
I have no clue about WCW because I didn't really follow it all that much until the following fall.

Lets see, First time round it was just before WM VII so it was Sgt. Slaughter as the Iraqi sympathiser. Mr Perfect was the IC champ i think and the Nasty's won the titles at WM7, but i cant think who from right now.
When i started back it was just before Survivor Series 1998, so the title was vacant until Rock won it and formed the corporation. NAO were the Tag Champs, Shamrock was IC, XPac was Euro, im guessin Gillburg was lightweight although i remember Christian had it at one point, Jacqueline lost to Sable at the Survivor Series for the Women's title and the hardcore title had just been created and Mankind had it.

WWF Title: Macho Man Randy Savage Intercontinental Title: Honky Tonk Man WWF Tag Team Title: Demolition
And that's all there was. I think Sherri was the Ladies Champion at the time, but it wasn't regularly defended on TV. It may have been Rockin' Robin. I wasn't in to any other fed at the time.
