I am so pissed at the crowds the past three weeks at RAW. First, Y2J comes back, gets a pretty good pop - but the crowd was not truly 'wild'. I am not looking for that super rare 'hogan/rock wrestle mania' type insanity which makes matches seem as if they are transcending the moment, but the pop for Y2J was very weak compared to what I felt he deserved.
Then two weeks ago, the crowd looked and sounded like a bunch of people the WWE found on the street and gave free tickets to the show to fill seats. They were horrible, and Flair deserved a MUCH larger pop. North Carolina/South Carolina fans seem to have mass sore throat fever or something.
The this past Monday on RAW, it was at times very painful to watch. How bad did it get?
During the 'Deluded Mr. Kennedy' segment, I could make out INDIVIDUAL VOICES as they yelled at Kennedy. And this was on the live watching - I did not rewind later and listen carefully. Did not have to. Again, I think this show was in South Carolina. What the hell is wrong with them? Any real wrestling fan would have popped BIG by the WWE just playing Razor Ramon's music. Nope, not here.
IT'S AS IF THESE FANS WENT INTO HIBERNATION WHEN CENA GOT HURT, AND ARE JUST DRIFTING UNTIL CENA RETURNS.
Sorry for my caps, but I blame everything on John Cena. Y2J's angle with Orton is not bombing due to bad fans, backstage HHH sabotage, or even Y2J's material. It's all John Cena's fault.
Damn you Cena.

Yeah, I'm not sure what the f*** is up.
Hell, I'd say give 'em DX if they'll pop. Better than a silent crowd.

I think we need to have the audience fired again.

my guess is ure joking with the Cena stuff but i agree that the crowds seem to be much quieter than usual... although it may be because of the times were in

I think it was just a dead Carolina crowd. And, I'm not surprise Jericho didn't big pop on his return since it was pretty much known he was coming back. He probably would have gotten a bigger pop if he come out totally out of nowhere.

its just proves the point that jericho is a tremendously overrated wrestler by the IWC. Like he was really go to "save them." When has jericho ever been a draw or was a "big wrestling superstar?" Its the same old jericho. Lame skits, spotty wrestling, tired old gimmick. One of the most overrated wrestlers ever IMHO.

Not every single fan is going to pop for Ramon's music, expecially when they know it is an impersonator coming out. It's not like 95% of wrestling fans have been watching since the 90s. Not everyone watches wrestling for as long as you do.

I hate how it's the fans fault if some guy who's liked doesn't get over. It's Jericho's fault.
It's like during that match with CM Punk at Elijah Burke at Judgement Day earlier this year. The crowd wasn't that into it, so everyone said the crowd sucked and was dead, despite the fact that the crowd was going crazy during the Hardys/Cade & Murdoch match. Maybe it's the wrestlers.

If you're enjoying the guy, what difference does it make if the crowd is all into em anyway?

I still maintain Jericho might have been more well off coming back as a bitter heel, pissed that his hollywood/rock star aspirations were sabatoged, and that he has to entertain loser fans again, but whatever.

No offense but this is like the millioneth post on this same very topic. Lets wait until Jericho leaves the Carolinas, and if it still is bad, then maybe WWE should think about turning him heel.
I personally think WWE waited a couple of weeks too long to debut and shouldve tweaked his catchphrases and music a bit.

I dunno. Sure, Jericho isn't getting much of reaction, but neither is really anyone else except Ric Flair and to a lesser extent, Jeff Hardy.
I still say Jericho's return pop was pretty ridiculous. It wasn't Triple H return at MSG or Austin helping Foley win the WWF Championship, but it was still pretty damn significant.

Why should people care? It's the same Jericho gimmick that he left 2 years ago with music he entered the WWE with almost a decade ago. Not to mention the thing over drawn out, and to be honest, it's a bit of a disappointment.
What has Jericho done to get himself over? Shown a picture of a cookie monster and say "me want match?"
Are you freaking kidding me? How is THAT supposed to be championship material?
