I was actually thinking, we've had people rename the U.S. title to the Canadian title before. Why not have the LWO rename the title to the Mexico title? Though that would probably require a heel turn.

My first thought here was damn, that's a deep dive. But hey, here's hoping they can do something worthwhile with it.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Also, props for the unintended move of leaving things on a cliffhanger and basically forcing Paramount to have to renew it after the strikes are over, combined with its streaming success overall. Good foresight, there! I’ve enjoyed this season overall. Ad Astra and Those Old Scientists are ones I’d gladly put with any high profile ST episode and as said, this needs another 2-3 seasons at least. The episodic format makes it open to the sort of adventures seen in other ST shows. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} It's a common tactic shows use. However, there's always the possibility that it doesn't work and the audience is left hanging. Duckman, Reboot and many other shows can attest to this.
However, given that Strange New Worlds seems to be pulling in solid numbers, I figure it's safe for a while yet. I've been going out of my way to talk it up to lapsed star trek fans.

My only criticism, if it can be called that, is the emotional whiplash of the last few episodes. We go from an emotionally-charged opening few episodes, {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}including putting Una on trial for basically existing, La'an finally making a connection to somebody only for them to die and then being put in a position to save the life of somebody she knows will go on to commit genocide, and a pseudo-horror episode featuring zombie Hemmer, to a literal Lower Decks episode, followed by M'Benga Does a Murder, to Star Trek: The Musical. Still, it's a very small complaint. "Subspace Rhapsody" is the weakest episode for me, but even that episode is a solid 7/10. I hope this show keeps going for at least another five seasons. It and Lower Decks are absolute pleasures to watch. This is a thing with Star Trek episode runs in general. Like DS9 followed up an episode about the horrors of war in "Nor the Battle to the Strong" with "Trials and Tribble-ations" two weeks later. Or the silly Holosuite heist episode of "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang" being sandwiched between the far more serious episodes of "Chimera" and "Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges". Episodes with a lot of social commentary about xenophobia and the erosion of civil rights and the rule of law in the face of war.
Instead of emotional whiplash, I think the silly episodes have a purpose in giving an emotional breather in between deathly serious episodes. That makes a lot of sense. I actually gave up on Burn Notice in the final season because they jacked it up to 11 and just left it there (there were other reasons too but the fatigue was real. You can only take the takes being heightened for so long).
In the case of Strange New Worlds, they managed to work it so that the silly came to them and served to move the serious forward, that's a fine line to tread.
Also, DS9 is fantastic and anyone considering rewatching it should do so.

I figured the season would end on a cliffhanger. I get why they do it, but I don't want to wait for the conclusion.
Already this series has made its way into my favorites and I hope we get several more seasons.

I've said before, it's like if the honky-tonk man had an entourage. Ref bumps and interference are how he's won so many matches yet he's treated like a world beater.
He's crazy over but yeah, the way he's kept the title for the most part has been shenanigans.

I was born in 83, so a lot of my choices have already been mentioned. I will add the Land Before Time. At 40 years old that movie still hits me in the feels like a Mac truck.
One that was when I was a teenager but never got the attention it deserves is The Emperor's New Groove.

Thought I was done with the questions about this thing but then I got dragged back in. So…how…howwwwwwwwww….in the hell did Gi’ah manage to shrink like Ant-Man with no Pym Particles? If I remember correctly in the comics they established that the particles would build up in the person's system over time. Though I don't know that it gave them that level of control and I don't think they mentioned it in the movie.

Last year I moved back to a neighbourhood I'd lived in for 10 years. Just went back to a barber I likes in the area for the first time in about 5 years. Now I'm enjoying a Cafe she recommended.

Difference between the IC and US Title is nuts. That could easily be solved my having Gunther squash Theory and hold both titles. My preferance would be LA Knight holding the strap, but Gunther chopping the shit out of the A-Town Clown and becoming a double champ isn't a bad choice either. Nah, these days that would lead to them making a 3rd midcard title. We already have a 3rd world title we didn't need.

I got a friend with a.d.d. who will have the tv on in the background when we're playing board games, or a monitor playing stuff while we're playing Pathfinder. He claims it helps him focus. Distracts the hell out of me though.

Meh, it all comes down to 'lol Roman wins'.
They'd be wise not to do champion vs champion since it would make the Consolation world title seem even worse.

He could vacate it. It would pause the Bloodline story, but that means they can just pick it back up when he is healthy. A pause might be nice. It would also show that he was never pinned or submitted. To be fair, he has been pinned multiple times in this reign. It's just that every time he's pinned the ref is unconscious and then Solo or the Usos interfere.
But I get your point. Still, with how long this reign has gone, it needs to end with putting someone over.

Doubt it. I noticed at the time that something seemed to be up. Just had a look (can't embed as it wasn't a WWE vid), Charlotte drags Sonya out of the ring, Sonya stepped back, and just fell backwards awkwardly. Sonya doesn't feature in the match again, and you can just see that she's still on the floor when the match is over, and Bianca and Charlotte are pointing at each other. Ah, well, there goes that shred of hope. Poor Sonya. Someone call Mandy to come sub for her. Hey! Phrasing.

I just learned there is an extension that also skips the in-video ads for like Raid Shadow Legends and such. I just learned about that and an extension that changes clickbait titles to non-clickbait. I'm thinking I'll try that out.

He's going after the Roman Cheats Too Hard World Consolation Prize, so I say give him a reign. Doesn't have to be long. Show us that something meaningful is allowed to happen outside of Wrestlemania (that's an exaggeration but sometimes it feels like moments are only allowed at WM).
It solidifies him, opens up the field on Raw and possibly brings back that 'anything can happen' feeling that hasn't existed for a long time.

Charlotte Smith would have a great career and even be one of the Four Horsewomen still, absolutely standing out as a big part of the company's push to take women's wrestling more seriously. And she'd have a normal amount of title reigns and probably not be the perennial eternal main event fixture who literally doesn't have the capacity to have something going that isn't about a belt. I don't know, I think Charlotte Smith having the gimmick of "Ric Flair, but as a woman" wouldn't really fly without the familial connection. Perhaps even the Four Horsewomen name would be something completely different (since her father was a Horseman). Not trying to take away from Charlotte's ability, but the character is so very very much a legacy character that removing the Flair connection changes so much about the presentation of the hypothetical Charlotte Smith. *shrug* I honestly wondered why she didn't try to shed some of the Flair presentation once she established herself. In my mind she comes off as a Ric Flair cosplayer. The relation may be what got her to the table, but she showed that she has what it takes to stay at the table on her own merits and yet, she's still doing the Ric Flair cosplay to a large degree.

We still haven't seen where the Usos will land if they every actually leave the bloodline for real. Right now, Jey's biggest success as a singles competitor was 3 years ago. That's been largely forgotten after all the times he teased turning on Roman only to bitch out and fall in line. He's not presented as anywhere near Roman's level. It's possible though that hey may have a genuinely good solo career. We saw flashes of what he could do years ago when the Bloodline story started. That said, I think it's too early to say whether the Usos will really be in a better position post bloodline if the bloodline story ever ends. Right now, I'd argue that Sami is about the only one to have been proven to have benefitted from association/interaction with the bloodline and even then management doesn't see him as a main event talent. Do you think without the Bloodline Jey has key spots in the main events of Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Night of Champions, Money in the Bank and Summerslam all in under a year? Do you think he's a bigger or lesser draw/merch seller than he was? Do you think Jey Uso (in real life not the character) thinks he was better off 4 years ago and isn't happy with the Bloodlone related stuff? I feel like I'm being gaslit here lol. Like some things are opinions and some are just facts. I didn't even think it was up for debate that Jey Uso is a much bigger star now than he was pre-Bloodline. Like he's going to be carrying Smackdown as the top face against his brother over the next few months ago when the same feud a few years ago would have been a midcard feud. The Bloodline is what took it to the point that it's hot enough to carry the show and draw numbers. I'm not gaslighting.
It's clear that we're coming from very different views that are incompatible. Sometimes I feel like there's some kool-aid I missed drinking when people praise this story like it's the second coming of Shakespeare and anyone who has ever faced the bloodline or been associated has been elevated to the top of Everest. That's hyperbole, but it honestly feels like that is what I'm seeing sometimes.
There have been some genuinely excellent moments in the bloodline story. What I'm simply saying is that while yes the Uso's have enjoyed a year of prominence thanks to this, that's no guarantee that they don't fall right back to where they started if the Bloodline ever actually breaks up. We've seen it before, people rise up briefly and then get smacked right back to where they were on the card. Jey has the most potential in my mind of the three brothers to maintain a higher level post bloodline, but it's not a guaranteed thing.
I keep seeing insistence that the Usos feuding is now a main event feud. That's fine, it's great for them. That doesn't mean that Jimmy turning on Jey makes any sense, especially when he didn't also lay out the two guys who put him in a hospital. Jealousy doesn't magically make that disappear and is a pretty weak crutch if that's what they go with for his motivation.

Well, I use Firefox and I just tried to access a video on youtube and got a notification that adblockers weren't allowed there and to disable it if I wanted to access the video. Didn't even get a "three videos" type alert. Weird thing is I was just there an hour or so ago and it didn't say anything. Alrighty. I got the same warning yesterday with firefox, but since then I've used the site multiple times with no issues.
