There's a flowchart for grapples that helps. I don't know where to find it right at this moment but it will probably save you some headaches. Oh I have them, but so much of Pathfinder's combat maneuver rules are just overly complicated. Yeah, as much I love that you can make just about any idea work in Pathfinder, it gets bogged down in itself a bit too much sometimes. It's partly why I'd love to try PF2e. 5e is fun but a bit too shallow. I feel like PF2 might be a nice balance.

Actually listening to Critical Role's soundtracks and getting ready for tonight's session. Trying to wrap up out Pathfinder 1e Tyrant's Grasp adventure so we can move this group onto DnD. My eyes bleed every time I need to figure out grappling rules or look up special abilities of some creatures. I'll take opposing Athletic or acrobatic checks over these rules. There's a flowchart for grapples that helps. I don't know where to find it right at this moment but it will probably save you some headaches.

I started playing D&D in I think the summer of 2004. It was 3.5. I had played a couple times in high school but there was always some asshat in the group that made the experience unbearable. In university I found a great group and we still play nearly 20 years later.
I've played 3.5, 4, PF1 and 5th. I have books for PF2 and would like to try it at some point. Haven't really had the opportunity to branch out beyond those systems.
I've had a lot of great times, but sadly with my work schedule I don't get a lot of chances to play these days. At the end of the day though, your group will make or break the experience as much as any system will.

The third episode of Star Trek TNG was a rehash of TOS' The Naked Time. It was even called The Naked Now! TNG had a lot of accusations of just recycling TOS plots in the first season. It wasn't until the 3rd season or so that they started having consistently good episodes. I could be wrong on this but that might be around the time Roddenbarry began playing less of a role?

5 months ago this would have been a resounding yes from me, but the number of fake turns since then has made me lose all interest. This right here. I was ready for them to break out on their own and maybe have solo runs. Now, after all the times they've teased dissension only to go back to Roman, I just don't care anymore.

I don't know if this counts but I lost track of how many times the overarching plot in Supernatural was one of the brothers has a dark secret and the other one knows and the first brother knows that the second knows but won't admit it. Then there's an episode seemingly designed to drive home how they need to trust each other and be honest, but when given the chance, the brother with the secret chooses not to reveal it, thus losing the trust of the other brother. For such codependent brothers they spend far too much of that series not trusting each other.

It's amazing how much of a non-entity Ronda is these days. From one of the top stars to random midcarder in less than a year. I'm surprised she's even still around. I thought when she returned at the Rumble last year it was reported she was on the same deal as last time and working through the following Wrestlemania. I'm not sure why either party would have extended the deal. WWE, where no one can be a bigger star than the company. Even if you come in as one, they will drag you down. To be fair, in this case she kinda dragged herself down. Normally I'd agree with you, but I don't think it applies as much here.

I had a good time with this. I was pretty worried when trailers first hit because it seemed like they were doing my boy Luigi dirty. However, I had a good time with the movie and they did alright by Luigi. It would seem my negativity earlier in the thread was unwarranted. I'm glad to have been wrong.

I think we're at a correction point. Gradually some of these services will merge to tey to combat the over saturation issue. Still, one of the biggest selling points of streaming was the price. Everyone seems to be increasing their prices at least once a year after fairly stable pricing.
I don't think we'll see the same kind of exodus to cable that we saw from cable though. There will be some who go for it, but others of us have been without cable and more importantly commercials for 10, 15, 20 years. When I visit my mom and watch cable it blows me away just how many commercials there are.
That said, in Canada at least, one of the biggest frustrations is who gets the rights to what show as it doesn't always make sense. For example, with the arrow verse, Netflix got flash and supergirl, while crave got arrow and legends of tomorrow. What made it even more frustrating was that flash was updated weekly while the other shows were often only updated 1 season at a time.
Streaming at its best offers what you want, when you want and in a convenient format. However, streaming is not currently at its best. I do think though in a few years it may be in a better place.

I've been thinking about Rusev Day a lot lately. What are the odds that after this long I would be thinking of Rusev Day on Rusev day?

Moreimportantly she can kick punch. Time to revive the beloved franchise kickpuncher. Was she trained by Master Onion? Funny enough, I was referencing Community but my mind also went to Pa Rappa.

Shrek was entertaining but I give it to emperor's new Groove. I'm mobile, so I can't go into detail but new groove was the better one. Both were great though.

People say Ronda couldn't Mix Martial Arts but here she is literally showing that she can punch And kick. Moreimportantly she can kick punch. Time to revive the beloved franchise kickpuncher.

Not gonna lie, I was generally bored by him and never really saw the hype. However, I can't deny that he was a big star and a lot of people loved him. In the end I just hope he's healthy.

I'd actually argue that Mr. Bean has less staying power in the UK, it's never on TV (bar the cartoon) and Blackadder is more fondly remembered here, shown, referenced. I had to check since I'm pretty sure most people in the U.S. know Mr. Bean more than Blackadder (even if just because of the movie). I know here in Canada (or my neck of it), at least with people my age (late 30s), Mr Bean is far more popular. It was on CBC for years. I never heard of Black Adder until high school when one friend made me aware of it.

Well the announcements of their careers being done I wouldn’t take Bob Orton’s quote in an interview that he thinks the doctors told Randy not to wrestle anymore but Randy will maybe come back when he’s ready as a retirement announcement. Imagine if he came out in a salmon colored jacket for this.

One hindrance to them was when Cena was "fired" and then showed up the next week to take them all out, even doing the hand motion to the camera. Crowds ate it up, but it made the nexus seem even less effective.

This is all somehow Lucy Liu's fault isn't it? Nah, let's just blame the cardboard cutout they had that looked like her.

I'm one of those older fans who should be excited for the maximals. However, I grew completely fatigued with the movies and gave up eventually. Bumblebee was good but the latter Michael bays were just slogs. I remember the one with the dinobots just seemed like and endless string of unrelated scenes that were put in because reasons.
I might stream this at some point but that's unlikely.

Being able to rip cds onto our computer was huge. Now all I had to do was not copy the ones I didn't like. When I got a CD burner? Oh man that was amazing. Yeah I'd done mixed cassettes but this was a mixed tape that you could choose any track you wanted. Freaking awesome.
It's funny though, I caught the tail end of 8 tracks and records. I remember at 7 we got a fancy new stereo that had 2 cassettes decks and a record player. That was 1990. I didn't get my first CD player until I was 14 in 1997, our family got a computer a year later and then I got my own computer when I headed off to university. Our family was a bit behind on updating stuff but it's tippy to think how many generations of music formats I've been through, many of them simultaneously.
I even made a mix CD when I bought my first car back in 2017 to mark the event.
I do sometimes go back and listen to an entire album, particularly if it's one that I know I enjoy. However, I love being able to throw my collection in a digital blender and see what plays. That said, I really wish music streaming was better at mixing genres as I'm usually too lazy to make my own Playlist. Still, I enjoy the freedom that current technology brings to my music, especially since I almost always have something playing.
