It's a controversial one, but...
I now understand why people scoff at professional wrestling. Sure, I knew it was corny, but I enjoyed it. Now that I've been away for some time and saw a match recently...yeah, it was bad (even the videos that people post here that they say are funny or amazing usually leave me with a feeling of, 'meh'). I still enjoy some old school stuff and post on two wrestling sites occasionally, but not as much as I used to.
GLOW is still good, though.

My grandma always had a can of those things around her house, but I don't remember them being that much better than Cheetos Puffs. I don't remember them tasting any different, either.
BTW, those chocolate PB Crisps looked delicious.

There were only 3 titles in the WWE during his peak popularity((WWF Champ,IC Title,Tag Titles)One of those was Hogan during a multi year run,the other was the IC title was always a heel and or workhorse belt and the other was the tag title's. If their was 2 tag belts and the Us Title Belt during the late 80's rest assured he would have held both at some point as he was a top 5 babyface for a while. Hell even Roberts never held a title back then Two things:
1. The Iron Sheik incident screwed over Duggan. He might have had an IC run.
2. Would YOU put a title on Jake? I wouldn't.

I don't know if it's because of rights issues with MTV, but I've always been so surprised that the War to Settle the Score hasn't been released in any official capacity, and is barely if ever acknowledged. Didn't they put that up on Classics On Demand some time ago?
BTW, have those Hogan/Flair matches from 91/92 ever been released yet?

So long as we catch up on Kevin and Brittany, I’m satisfied. 
Like you, Daria was can't miss TV in my house. I still enjoy the show and still consider it one of the best animated shows ever and Mr. DeMartino is one of my favorite characters of all time. Just like any TV show, if it is well written, it can work.
The problem with the Bevis and Butthead remake was that they put the 90s characters into the current world and it didn't translate well. Why were they still wearing Metallica and AC/DC t-shirts? I didn't think it was that bad, but I wasn't a fan of the show in the first place. |

Weren't both shows taped on the same lot? They were both Warner Bros. shows, so they might have been.
