Same reason beach valleyball is less popular outside of places with beaches. It's hard to really get into a sport you don't grow up playing, for people who grow up in places like the southwest, deep south, hawaii, west coast etc you don't get outdoor hockey weather. And the cost for indoor hockey in those places is not economically viable for most people even if their was actual interest for a kid to play 3) people don’t have the resources and money to play hockey. They can just go to the park with a ball and find a quick pickup game or even play by yourself GAME ON!!!
Three quarters instead of four. No cheerleaders. Complicated rules. Boring to watch. Go to a game live I would if I could. Besides, most sports are fun live, but are boring to watch on TV.

I have never met a nice Patriots fan in my life in person. Sorry for beating a dead horse, and I WILL stop after this, but again, its not easy to turn off bitterness after remembering repressed memories. It wasn't a fun time... I'm a Patriots fan. Started watching in 1989 when I could. They would only televise games on the road against dominant teams because of the NFL blackout rule. I'd watch them win between 1-5 games every year until 1996. They made the Super bowl... lost, became a great one and done NFL team until 2001. Couldn't believe they won a Super Bowl, still the sports highlight of my life.
I'm married, own a house and a dog. I run a brewery, and I volunteer for Meals on Wheels 3 days a week while also volunteering and the New England Wildlife Center on Sundays.
The past 18 years as a Patriots fan have been great but like all teams, theres been more disappointment than success.
2005 losing to the Broncos in the AFC divisional round after the refs didn't know how to call a fumble into the endzone 2006 watching them blow a 2 touchdown lead against the Colts in the AFC championship and the Colts going on to win against a Bears team the Patriots already beat. 2007. Going 16-0 and losing the super bowl because a guy superglued a football to his helmet 2008 Brady goes down game one. 2009 Getting blown out at home, one and done by the Ravens. 2010 Losing the divisional to a team you smoked by 30+ a few weeks prior (lead by Mark Sanchez) 2011 Lose by a miracle catch in the Super bowl again... go Giants 2012 Lose the AFC championship to the Ravens again... ugh 2013 Creamed by the Broncos. 2015 Creamed by the Broncos.
Lets not pretend the Patriots win the title evert damn year. It's a hell of a run, maybe the best ever. Still more heartbreak than triumph.

Maybe if Dumb and Dumber 2 hadn't flopped they could've convinced Carrey to do another Mask It technically didn't flop. Well, not financially, anyway.

Rarely do us mortals get to glimpse true greatness, enjoy Brady/Belichick now because it’ll be a long time before we see something similar again. Just my .02 If we're lucky.

Back in the late 90s, lots of cable channels started with experimenting with showing nudity and using foul language, especially MTV, so most shows would have at least a shot of being shown. That said, The Real Housewives Of...franchise wouldn't have been shown because it probably would have bombed.

No Alf does not deserve a revival. Has our entertainment industry gotten so bad they can't think of anything original so they just reboot old shows like MacGyver, Full House, Boy Meets World and Family Matters. They've done that since the beginning of TV. Just like ads disguised in shows, it's nothing new. How about we compromise, we get a reboot of 3rd Rock from the Sun where Alf is their pet? I'd rather get a reboot of Alf with the cast of Mad About You first.

Thing is, there were no actual stakes involved in some of these. I'll go with Rock vs. Mankind for the WWF title, where Foley won the title. That match was a big time title match with a perfect happy ending and it also came on the same night WCW did the Fingerpoke of Doom. More than any other show or main event that one wrecked WCW. I honestly can't even remember the NWO vs. Rock/Austin match. And that 10 man tag match was a lot of fun but at the end of the day it didn't mean anything. A feel-good ending of Foley winning the WWF Title vs. The NWO reuniting for the umpteenth time. No contest there. The NWO were watered down versions of their previous incarnations while Rock/Mankind were a their peak.

Do you really want to see old WWWF shows on the Network? Honestly? I think the space could be used for other, more watched, programming on there.

No Mercy, just for the storylines alone. I like the fact that the story can change if you lose or win.

I often wonder if Sarah McLachlan regrets letting them use that song now, as one can't hear it without thinking of abused dogs or cats. Seeing as she is huge into animal rights, I would say no. Also at least it isn't Britain's SPCA that did this.

For those who think "Whoever buys it will make the company better!", it's more than likely more like WCW when Time Warner took over. Big Mega-company that doesn't care, and will shut the damn thing down at the first opportunity. That's one thing people tend to forget. Turner Inc. wanted to sell WCW ever since they bought it, but Ted Turner wouldn't let that happen. Unless the head boss is a fan, it'll be nothing but a tape library within a few years time.

WCW/NWO World Tour was better, but not by much. I hated that it was mostly unknowns. I always played as the WCW crew.

Oops...wrong War Game.

MTV, VH1, BET, and any other music channel is nothing but reality shows and dumb stuff. I miss USA having original movies and shows. I know they still do shows, but it is the Law & Order, Chrisley, NCIS, and Modern Family channel. I even liked when E! had Coming Attractions, making of movie specials, Talk Soup, and even the goofy Gossip Show.
I also liked Comedy Central when they had Make Me Laugh, Win Ben Stein's Money, The Upright Citizens Brigade, and Dr. Katz on during the day.
And how many god damn channels does Friends need to be on?Ok, rant over. I just can't believe how these channels changed for the worst. And I love that Natasha Leggero said that TLC went from education and interesting shows to standing for Toddlers, Little People, and Cake. Being a 90s kid. We had such fun.
