I could totally get behind this. I tend to go through a 2 or 3 month spell a year where I get bored with the product and quit watching. I'm sure I'm not the only one who could also use a break (I might injure my larynx booing Roman).
The only change I'd make is make Mania the season finale, and give them April and May off. Granted, you're way gives them the holidays, so there is that. Maybe a pre-taped Christmas Raw and just an end of year clipshow for SD that week.

He's advising management about which NXT stars he can competently put over in commentary. No one. Cole can put over none of them well. And no one in mgmt will presume HE'S the problem in the equation. Cole: Apollo Crews? Great look, amazing presence, and impressive moveset! I think he'll be the 4th member of New Day if he goes to the main roster! Regal: He's staying in NXT, next! Cole: Gable and Jordan? Strong chemistry, amazing look and presence, and would add a lot to the tag division! I think they'll be split up in 3 months and then Gable gets released after Jordan squashes him in a failed monster push if they hit the main roster! Regal: They're staying in NXT, next! Cole: Baron Corbin? Great gimmick, strong presence, and improves each week! I think he'll be part of the Wyatt Family but I get to put over how much of a challenge he is to Roman Reigns! Regal: He is staying in NXT... Dunn: Give me him now! Christ, when I got to the Dunn line, I automatically heard it in my head as raspy and terrifying, and looking like this  |

Wouldn't be surprised to know that Cole's got the same rub and backstage jobs that JR had in his heyday. A little production work, talent scout, coordinator, etc.

I've said it before, Torito should switch to his Mascarita Dorada gear (maybe a lucha mask with horns and keep the furry boots, with the Dorada designs) and be allowed to have real matches. He'll obviously never get a non-tag title run, but booked against cruiser/light-heavyweights, he'd be the star of Superstars, and even a run on Smackdown. Kids would love him, he'd be muy marketable, and think of the good press if WWE had a little person on the roster who wasn't a joke.

So I made a very dark, evil female wrestler called Black Death and had her win a match. Then it shows her doing the generic Diva win animation. I laughed at how unfitting it was. This means in that time someone can be built to be the #1 guy and Cena can come back and bury them. Sucks that he's out though. Fixed for likelyhood. Seriously, as much as I liked no Cena on TV, wouldn't have wanted him away due to injury. Hope his healing goes well. Take all the time you need, John. Don't try to rush back for Mania. Please. |

I like to watch him wrestle, but everything else about him is dull. His personality is very much Cena 2.0. In fact... I actually like Cena better. I may despise Cena, but at least it feels like Cena is who he is. And I can easilly paint him as a heel in my own mind. Reigns feels like he's someone we know could be more interesting pretending to be Cena, which is worse.

Yes. I did indeed mis-read that. I guess I was just expecting Bryan to end his career as a clean cut heel vs. Cena. I however would welcome shaved head crazy beard violent killer Daniel Bryan vs John Cena. I think you just invented the newest World Champion in my WWE16 Universe. |
