Alright everyone, the deadline is tonight by the time I get home from work. That should be roughly 9:30PM Eastern.
I haven't done an official count again since the 118 but we should be at or near 150 characters now!

And that's the deadline. I'll be tallying the rest of everything up now.
IF anyone wants to try to sneak in a last minute list just send it in. I will add it in so long as I haven't finished tallying yet.

I'll tell you what, I'm not going to have time to tally any tonight so any that get in by Friday evening will count. I'll be working on tallying them while I'm at work tommorow.
Damn work slowing me down!

Alright everyone. I had a busy weekend at the store so I wasn't able to get this thing kick started Sunday night like I wanted, but here we go. I got the totals tabulated and the tabulations totaled. 189 characters made it into the tourney and we'll start now.
Here's some clues for the four way tie for #186.
-He once played the guitar for 36 hours straight... for no reason. -He's not yelling, that's just how he talks. -An obnoxious President. -He's a metaphor for things being impossible.

t186) 1 pt
Calhoun Tubbs Actor: David Alan Grier Character Type: Recurring Show: In Living Color
Who is he? Calhoun Tubbs is and old bluesman portrayed by David Alan Grier whose songs invariably insult or otherwise offend his audience. He always strums the same bar of blues and ends his little songs with "Ahhhhahaha", and concludes with "Thank you very much!".
In Pop Culture: One of his catchphrases was "I wrote a song about it. Like to hear it? Here it go!" His catchphrase was also used as the intro to En Vogue's "Free Your Mind".

t186) 1 pt
Abe Lincoln Actor: Zach Cregger Character Type: Recurring Show: The Whitest Kids U Know
Who is he? The 16th president of the U.S.A. of course!
I thought Whitest Kids doesn't use recurring characters? Seen in the sketches "Abe Lincoln" and "John Wilkes Booth", both played by Zach Cregger. In both of these, he is the victim of John Wilkes Booth's assassination attempts, though it each sketch the circumstances are quite different. "John Wilkes Booth" shows him as an upset victim of Booth's harassment, while in "Abe Lincoln" he severely annoys and harasses Booth until Booth kills him out of anger and annoyance.
But Abe wasn't a loudmouth theater jerk! I'm sure if he had a cell phone back then he would have been on that as well!

t186) 1 pt Samuel L. JacksonActor: Dave Chappelle Charcter Type: One-Shot Show: Chappelle's Show [ Why no video? There are two real brands of alchohol mentioned in the skit. If it was only Samuel Jackson's spoof brand it wouldn't break any rules, but with the two real brands mentioned I didn't want to push it. If you want to find the video on You Tube the only true to the skit version I could find was a Phoenix Wright version. All clips with the skit are actually music video remixes. Why does he keep yelling? Haven't you ever seen any of his movies? THAT'S HOW HE TALKS! What is the point of the skit? It's kind of a double paradoy, triple parody even. It's a spoof of beer commercials, a certain brand of beer AND the way Samuel L. Jackson carries himself in tons of movies. Samuel L. Jackson is one cool cat.

t186) 1 pt
The Flying Pig Actor: Bruce McCulloch Charcter Type: Recurring Show: Kids in the Hall
No Picture or Video This Time? You're getting lazy already! I looked on both YouTube and Dailymotion for a video. I found none. I Googled and Yahoo'd for his image. I found none. I swear he exsists though! Obviously one other person remembers too!
Well, can you at least TELL me about him? There really isn't much more to say that I didn't say in his bio. Several sketches featured a flying pig, played by McCulloch, who amused bored people in long lines. It was usually very short skits inbetween more meaningful skits.

Fernando Lamas Actor: Billy Crystal Character Type: Recurring Show: Saturday Night Live
Who is he? His most famous recurring sketch was his parody of Fernando Lamas – Fernando, a smarmy talk show host whose catch phrase, "You look... mahvelous!," became a media sensation.
But wait, don't I know him from somewhere else? The character was based on Argentina-born American actor and director Fernando Álvaro Lamas.
Trivia on the real man: Fernando Álvaro Lamas is actually the father of The Renegade himself, B-Movie actor extrodinaire, Lorenzo Lamas.

Opera Man Actor: Adam Sandler Character Type: Recurring Show: Saturday Night Live
Who was he? Opera Man was a Weekend Update character played by Adam Sandler. He would appear in a fancy shirt and black cape and sing, opera style, jokes about current events and celebrities. Among Opera man's sketches, regarding the L.A. Riots: "La Chiefa Policia, no dispatcha gendarme / morono, no respondo / no excusa, bagga doucha!" There was also the "tom hanks-o/ nominat-o. next year go to franc-o/ give someone else/ a freaking chance -o! (on the screen a picture of Billy Madison comes up)
