Hmmm...never really listened to her but the words "Produced by Ben Folds" on the top has me intrigued.

Check her out. I mean it. You will not be disappointed, sir.
As a matter of fact...
"Astronaut"
"Oasis"
"Strength Through Music"

Okay, it may be me, but I am hardly surprised by the albums you chose. Sure, the Loma Prieta was a switch, but I've actually heard of them.
I'll likely be doing the same here soon, I just need to collect a list.

Yeah, if anyone could guess what albums I'd pick, it'd be you. For having never talked outside of the forums, you know my tastes quite well

Well, one last post before I really have nothing else relevant to update...
HONOURABLE MENTIONS:
The Dresden Dolls - No, Virginia... Anthony Green - Avalon Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone -honorable mentions- ASHES dIVIDE - Keep Telling Myself... The Classic Crime - The Silver Cord Coldplay - Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends Finch - EP Bring Me the Horizon - Suicide Season United Nations - United Nations Of Montreal - Skeletal Lamping
No real reviews here. They were still notable and very good albums, just not quite good enough.

Haven't had a chance to hear the new Finch album yet. Is it more along the lines of What It Is To Burn or Say Hello To Sunshine? Or neither? I like both albums but I tend to like What It Is To Burn a little better because the title track is one of my favorite songs.

The album's not out yet, but the EP was grand.
It's more along the lines of Say Hello to Sunshine than it is What It Is To Burn, but it's not quite like Say Hello either. They've definitely evolved more.
But I honestly preferred Say Hello anyway. But that's me.

I know a lot of Finch fans frowned upon it because they changed up their style some but I liked it a lot. I just like What It Is To Burn slightly better because of the title track and it did have Daryl Palumbo on it and I love me some Glassjaw.

And it's not like I hate What It Is To Burn...I just don't like it as much. I don't feel it's really "their" sound...they were just feeling stuff out, which is why it's kinda disjointed. I think my favourite songs on that record are "Project Mayhem", "What It Is To Burn", and "Grey Matter". Great stuff. And you totally can't go wrong with Daryl Palumbo. Ever.

Ahh I'm wicked jealous. I've never met her proper. Though I did touch her hand at the Dresden Dolls show I went to last year. But yeah...Amanda is 100% amazing.

Of Montreal is kinda weird to me, I like it and hate it. They sound like The Shins being raped by the Andy and Barry Gibb.
