Punk wins, MiTB comes down, Otunga and McGillicutty take him out before he can cash in, Punk cuts a promo, Cena pulls himself up and demands his rematch, and since Punk is under contract till midnight the anon-GM says Punk has to or he'll be stripped of the title and sued, then Cena wins.

Threatening to fire Cena if he loses, Punk is supposedly leaving the day after, this all feels a little too big to say that Cena is just flatout winning. Im not saying he wont win, Im just saying he wont get the standard STF "babyface in all his glory" win. To me, it feels like somthing big is waiting to happen.

One more theory....what happens if
Cena wins MITB Winner cashes in THEY Win
then somehow give it to CM Punk as a big middle finger to Vince

And he uses all the WWE buzzwords, and calls himself the best entertainer in the world. That would break hearts. Not really, it's the same guy and the character is still interesting. I really don't understand this stuff. If you like a wrestler, do you stop liking them because there's a gimmick tweak or a turn? Its called a heel turn. And yes, considering his anti WWE rant had everyone buzzing about awesome it was and how much it was "the truth" him doing the opposite would get him the opposite reaction, even if you're aware its a gimmick. If its possible for a character change to gain fans, like R Truth, then its certainly possible the other way. Thats basically pro wrestling.

Not that it will happen... but imagine THIS..... Cena needs time off since he's hurting.... so Punk beats Cena.... walks off with the WWE Title.... Let's say Alex Riley wins MITB Punk goes to random ROH show.....Punk talks his crap... maybe even works a match with WWE Title in hand....after match Riley ....on ROH show... cashes in and "brings the title back home" wanna talk about an instant star is made?? Hot damn..... will never happen though, but it would be amazing..... It's not gonna happen and it wouldn't make Riley a star becuase nobody would see it.

I honestly think Punk is winning, and that he's going to become Corporate Rock 2.0.

I'm hoping it ends with Cena losing and Punk walking out the champion... however, he is knocked out by Vince, who helps him sign a new contract. The next night on Raw, Vince explains that he wanted Cena out of the company for years, and now he is, it's time to celebrate.
This'll lead to a Cena tweener turn with a brand new attitude. He and Punk will seek to take down the company.

Cena wins with an AA after Vince hits Punk with a chair afterwards Vince hits Cena with a chair and calls out Del Rio, Del Rio wins the title (invoking his number one contendership from Raw the other night) Cena/Del Rio at Summerslam, Punk is never heard from again (or at least a few years) and the "big angle" was just Vince screwing Cena over for Del Rio...........
I would prefer Punk wins the title with Vinces help and becomes Corparate Punk but sadly I see the above scenario the most logical

Punk wins, and MITB winner comes out to cash in. Punk runs out of the arena before that happens though. Punk has secretly signed an extension with WWE (part of the whole work), but Vince has agreed to let him work several indy shows. Vince has an under the table agreement with another organization (maybe ROH) to let Punk appear with the WWE title. In a few weeks, several WWE wrestlers (including MITB winner and WWE referee) "invade" indy show to steal back the WWE title. Of course, this all happens to be caught on camera. Embarassed Punk "comes back" to WWE to get his revenge. Even though he was under contract the whole time.

MITB: Punk wins, Cena gets fired. Punk defeats MITB holder putting him over strong. Vince realises he is going to loose a huge potential star if he lets him go and he goes down to apologise to Punk for suspending him. Only for Punk to give him a GTS and runs out of the arena.
Cena in pain climbs back into the ring and says that it was the match of the year he was hoping for and he says that although he is fired he still intends to be there for the business and company that he loves, and that he will see Rock at Wrestlemania.
Throughout the year: Vince is on a conquest to get revenge on Punk and bring the title back completly to the WWE. Punk starts defending the Title at ROH and viral footage pops up on Raw of him defending the title. Punk and other ROH and past past employees interupt Raw throughout the year attacking random superstars and causing caos.
Cena gradually begins to gain Vince's trust again after loosing to CM Punk which he promised Vince he would not do. He is not allowed to wrestle but Vince allows him a second chance by being on the comentary table to prove his love for the sport and the company up until Wrestlemania.
Vince starts to invest more time on the Smackdown brand, making the World Heavyweight Title the most prestigious title in the WWE. This aggrivates the Raw superstars as they have no loop whole to get to Smackdown and have no title to fight for. Making the upper mid/main event stars on Raw challenge CM Punk for the title of the course of the year.
Summerslam: Mick Foley is revealed to be the mystery Raw GM and hopes to be forgiven by the WWE Universe by any bad decisions he has made and how he how he has not addressed them face to face before now. Only to be interupted by Punk who brutally attacks Mick before running out of the arena. HHH vs Taker is booked in a last man standing match, which HHH wins. Taker isnt seen for months
Royal Rumble: Vince assigns his 'doofus' son in law to take out Punk by Survivor Series and bring the title home, as he is running out of options. While doing this Stephanie behind the scenes is legally trying to stop Punk from defending the title at other companies and terminate other contracts elsewhere. Leading to a match at Survivor Series, in which HHH looses.
Elimination Chamber: Stephanie is able to stop the rest of the ROH group coming to one of the Raw's before the PPV, leading to Punk getting beaten by Vince, Shane and HHH. Cena stops this attack as he sees it happening from the commentary table, and respects Punk's free speech and need to change the industry. Leading to Shane and HHH vs Punk and Cena. Rock attacks Cena, but before HHH can make the pin Taker attacks his leading to Punk scoring the pin on HHH again. Making Vince loose all hope in HHH.
Wrestlemania: Vince on the brink of going crazy goes back to the one guy that has been his arch nemesis, to take out Punk. Stone Cold. Setting up the second main event of Wrestlemania Stone Cold vs CM Punk. During the match Vince goes to ringside similar to X7. You think he is going to attack Punk, but he attacks Stone Cold, to create the new corporate champion CM Punk.

I think people are reading far too much into Punk saying he will defend at ROH.

I think people are reading far too much into Punk saying he will defend at ROH. This, and as many times as people mention Colt Cabana, he wasn't over for a reason (and it's not just a lack of airtime) and will definitely not be used in this feud; he sucks (I'm an indie fan, but by God he is unfunny and reminds me of overbearing geeks who act stupid so as to not get beaten to death). I am hoping Punk wins, and actually keeps the title. BUT I do not think him being corporate champ will be a good idea, how many non-fans have mentioned him as a bad ass anti-hero? Lots, if you keep Punk on RAW but with the same "I'm here to prove I'm the best, not just out of a damned contractual obligation," attitude then the WWE may have THE babyface they need to gain more fans. Punk must win, Punk can't be a corportate champion...it's an odd situation. I am saying Punk wins though. If Cena wins again I'll quit watching RAW for two months again, just like the last time he beat the Miz.

Thirded on Punk not taking the title to ROH. T'was a work; don't think for one second that if Punk wins (and I'm almost sure he will) that the hard title will feel the Chicago wind outside the arena. Punk's a pretty professional person, and even if he weren't, the brass ain't that stupid.
I'm predicting a Punk win, with Cena being "fired" so he can take time off to recover and be %100 for his match with the Rock. What happens after Punk wins is the question.
1) The one I'm banking on: He either beats the MitB winner or the winner just doesn't cash in the night of. Afterwards, Punk doesn't immediately leave the WWE, possibly using the title as leverage against McMahon to get whatever he wants. In no way would he be a face, as in many ways, he's holding the company hostage by holding the title and his waning contract over the heads of the powers that be. 2) Another one of the options that has been tossed around, Punk beats Cena and gets taken out by a cash-in. This would probably be the worst option, as no one really walks away happy; Chicago sees their native son losing the WWE title unceremoniously minutes after winning it (although, it would be something of poetic justice when you consider what he did to Jeff Hardy two years ago before he left) and the CeNation witnesses Cena's last match for a long while. 3) A possible one, but one I don't really see. Punk beats Cena, Cena's fired, and Vince strips Punk of the title either the night of or, so as not to kill Chicago's buzz, the following night on RAW to insure he doesn't leave the company with the title. Where this would go is a toss-up, but neither Punk nor Cena would be in the WWE picture, much less the title picture, for the foreseeable future.

This Monday on RAW, you have Punk come out and cut another promo. He doesn't need to be as overtly critical of the WWE this time. He thanks Cena for being a man (remember, Punk said himself that he likes Cena) and a token of goodwill, he's disbanded the Nexus and the match at the PPV will just be a one-on-one.
The match looks to be over, as Cena has Punk up for the AA, but he swings Punk's feet into the ref and knocking him out. All of a sudden the Kings jump the guardrail, hit the ring and nail Cena with KRS-One. Punk picks Cena up, hits the Go 2 Sleep, ref comes to and Punk is your new champ.
Vince is irate and demands that the MitB winner cashes in right this second and sends down, I dunno, Alex Riley to take on Punk. As Riley is making his way to the ring, he's jumped from behind by Colt Cabana and Tyler Black. They beat him down on the outside, roll him into the ring, and Punk hits another Go 2 Sleep and retains.
The next night on RAW, a dejected Vince calls Cena into the ring to fire, but just as this is happening, Punk, Hero, Claudio, Colt and Tyler all make their way down to the front row and take a seat. They've bought tickets. They mock Cena as he gets fired and remain at ringside for the duration of the show.
The GM announces that a match will be held to crown an interim WWE Champion as the night's main event between #1 contender Alberto Del Rio and The Miz. As the match gets underway, Punk's crew hits the ring and lays waste to both men. Punk grabs a mic and tells Vince that he'll be coming to RAW every week to rub in his face that his champion doesn't even work for his promotion anymore.
This happens for a couple more weeks (random run-ins) until finally, Punk says to Vince he can make it all stop by offering him a contract on his terms. Those terms include an increase in pay, merchandising rights, the hiring of the Kings, Colt and Tyler, and a few other stipulations. Vince is powerless and gives in and Punk returns to WWE with all of the power.
Far-fetched, I know, but it would make for some great TV leading into the fall.

As long as it got Cena with his lame, drawn out, boring gimmick off my tv for a while and FINALLY repackage him possibly in some way with a more aggressive edge or even a heel turn and they go with a new top face on Raw I could care less.

Punk wins with the new JOB Squad's Nexus' help.
Vince fires Cena and brings out MITB Rey Mysterio to cash in. Punk and Nexus beat the living snot out of Rey before the match can begin. Rey barely crawls to his feet, Punk yells for the ref to start the match, and he reluctantly does. Rey gets a second wind and takes it to Punk. Rey connects with the 619, but as he springboards for his splash finish, Punk gets up, catches up, GTS. 1...2...3.
The WWE locker room runs down to the ring but before they can get there, Punk escapes through the crowd. CLIFFHANGER.
The next night on Raw, McMahon is irate. Fires a couple jobbers. Finally has a breakdown in the ring begging Punk to come back with the title. Punk appears "via satellite" with the title and a huge grin. He tells Vince he will come back with the title under one condition. He gets to defend the title against The Rock at SummerSlam in LA.
IWC explodes
...don't ask what they would do after Summerslam when Rock is champ

Cena loses, Punk gets himself DQed vs. the MITB winner to keep the title. Cena shows up every week afterwards interfering in Punk's business until Punk makes Vince/RAW GM rehire Cena. rematch. Cena wins. it'll be like deja-vu-a-mania running wild all over again

Oh my, some of these CM Punk fantasy bookings are just terrible. The idea that he'll win the title and defect to ROH, with an invasion looming are laughable. Punk's contract ends the night of Money in the Bank. I see this as no different than when Chris Jericho had one last storyline to go out on before he left in 2005. The people doubting Punk wouldn't be in the main event because he's leaving soon are just fooling themselves. I'm sure this is just a good faith move towards Punk to let him know he's welcome back whenever he's ready.
There won't be an ROH invasion (and I love me some ROH), at best maybe Tyler Black will debut soon.
If Punk beats Cena, then he'll either lose to the MITB winner that night, or the next night on RAW. Its a cool thought to have Punk take the title and go elsewhere, but to most of the audience, his Ring of Honor and NJPW as well as his Colt namedrop probably flew over their heads. Punk is leaving soon, this is just a great way to send him off.
