If the last two season weren't an indicator, this is a damned billboard that Quack has lost it.

You've got a great assistant trainer RIGHT THERE in Ultramantis Black, Hallowicked, or hell, even Eddie Kingston and you choose a 12 time loser like Jannetty?

Maybe the only thing Marty is being hired as a "trainer" to do is stand there and let his students gaze upon him. "Hey kids...this is what you DON'T do."

When the high point of your career is getting thrown through a plate glass window, I guess you're a pretty decent exemplar of what not to do, yeah.

In the end who screws CHIKARA worse:
Jannetty or Jorge Rivera?

In the end who screws CHIKARA worse: Jannetty or Jorge Rivera? Meh, still Skayde. At worst, Jannetty probably just no shows or gets arrested, and the main body of Chikara isn't really affected. Skayde actually f***ed over some of the biggest shows Chikara puts on.

Aww c'mon now, personal demons aside, in his prime Marty was world class worker in his own right. Kids coming up could benefit from learning from a guy who came up in the old territory days.

Unless Quack decided to sign over his mortgage to sign Jannetty to a huge contract, Jannetty really shouldn't do much damage. Skayde almost completely f***** over the company.

I really think he's starting to let the stuff HE marks for take priority over the product. He's dedicating an entire weekend to marking out over joshis, and now he's bringing on a Rocker, and it's not too big a stretch to imagine they might have been a big influence on his formative years in the business.

I've never EVER questioned Mike Quackenbush on his direction with CHIKARA. I've never had to...
Until now. :/

Yeah, he's mentioned a few times that seeing 123 Kid and them were what helped motivate him to become a wrestler. Also it's well known knowledge that he loves the 80's to mid 90's gimmicks of WWF.

Which hadn't really been an issue up to this point, because the gimmicks in Chikara are typically great. But this.....man, I don't think I can go for this. This is nuts on a level I didn't think possible.

Man, screw you guys. Janetty hasn't been in trouble for a while, and he's actually a really great wrestler, with years of experience. Isn't that what a trainer should be?
