I doubt he's actually 260. Most likely exaggerated to fit the "muscle" billing. he was a defensive lineman in football. those are the second biggest guys on the field. Now he's probably dropped some weight, but not much below his playing weight Okay okay, fine. Reigns has his role in The Shield. However, it's clearly the least important role. Very few people can get by on their look alone, and those who can, standout a lot more than Reigns. I just don't get how anyone can see a bigger upside on Reigns than they can Ambrose or Rollins.

I thought Rollins was the loser of the group.

To me, the snap-ddt and countering whips into the knee make him the most interesting in-ring.

Arguing about who is the least impressive in the group, when all 3 of them have played their part well and have been great together from the beginning, seems kind of pointless.
Wait until the group breaks up with each other before tearing them apart as individuals.

They've been presented and booked as a solid trio, and performance-wise I haven't seen a weak link in the group. They're all doing very well so far I'd have thought.

*sigh* I don't mean in kayfabe. Not quite what I mean either. The enforcer character is a key guy to a wrestling stable. They're not going to be in a stable forever. Most enforcers amount to nothing. And even the ones that are successful, they were difficult to predict. I don't think anyone thought Batista would be as successful as he was. I just don't see how people can say that Reigns is the star of the group when on paper he clearly has less upside than the other two.

Two matches is nowhere near enough to make a full evaluation but I agree with his psychology and promos being primo. He does have Jake the Snake's kind of evil down quite nicely, and that is exactly what I love about him. I'm looking forward to seeing more outside old YT videos.

That alone should guarantee him a solid push when they eventually split. That means more chances to become something big, or at least more than the other two will probably be given.

I said he'd have more chances given to him. Funny faces and spirit fingers only go so far. Ask Percy Watson.

I'm looking forward to seeing more outside old YT videos. well, I was talking over all, not just his couple of singles matches. He has the least effective move set, his voice is the most aggravating, he has least marketable look, and general contributes the least to each Shield victory. He sells the most blatently, but I actually think he oversells the initial impact then shrugs it off

Yeah, I'm not disappointed by any of them. Ambrose is the mouth/brain, Rollins is the crash dummy, and Reigns is the muscle. I feel like he's had some great moments on the mic and in the ring already, and that he's very much the glue that keeps the group working & looking like one. Thing is, he's had his mic time divided up between the three of them and not given anything super personal. In ring, he's impressive but, again, not much time to show off & highlight him as an individual.
I feel like alot of people miss the point of the Shield, they are all impressive in my opinion. But each of them have stifled themselves to some extent because they're not the only person in the group and not the only person needing to look good. There's two other guys that need some spotlight and need time to be made to look good. So, some shows, it's Rollins that gets the short stick, sometimes it's Reigns, and sometimes it's Dean.

If I had to pick one as the least impressive it would be Rollins, but honestly, they are all about even to me.

Ambrose is the work horse of the group. Rollins is the flash, and Reigns is the power. Not that Rollins isn't a work horse either, their TLC match against Ryback, Bryan and Kane had Rollins and Ambrose wrestle pretty much the entire match against everyone else at certain points. Ambrose doesn't do anything overly impressive like Rollins or Reigns, but he's critical to the group's success based on his ability to talk and work a great match. He has his own strengths, and the other two have their own, and they don't really outshine each other really.
He can be flashy, but not as much as Rollins, and Rollins has been really good on the mic, especially compared to his ROH stuff, but not as good as Ambrose.
