This is how he reacts to being punched...
You do realize he's getting punched by the best striker in UFC heavyweight history? That is NOT Mirko Cro Cop.

Hard to say definitively because we never saw Tonga Fifita compete in legitimate fighting. He does have a sumo background. He also played rugby in college in Tonga. We know Brock Lesnar was a great wrestler who was able to use his freakish size and strength, speed and agility, and wrestling skills to succeed in MMA. He has a proven track record in legitimate fighting. I would guess that Brock Lesnar would have the advantage in a real fight due to having a bit of size on him, particularly if we are taking Tonga from his age and size from the 1980s.

I don't think it will be as bad as the last time he faced Gonzaga... I hope. It's sad though. Cro Cop is one of my all time favourites but I really wish he'd just retire.

This is so dumb. Brock would win. In what world are we placing Meng, who very well could've been a tough guy, but who's entire reputation is built up of stories (in a business where everyone uses hyperbole), over a guy who we've actually seen beat up some of the greatest fighters of all time. A guy who is without doubt the greatest athlete who has ever competed in the WWE or UFC.

There is a huge difference between trained and capable. I'll take Brock until there is something that shows Haku can deliver in a pinch outside of stories that cannot be verified. I'm not trying to slight Haku either, he could be amazing and take Brock out with one throw but there is just nothing that has shown he can so I'll go with the sure thing freak of nature.

People put entirely too much stock in "fighting dirty." I mean, okay, I know this is a little bit "we got a badass over here" but I bounced for some time in a really wild bar. Even now, I make my living doing contract security. Trust me, violence is a very real part of my life that I spend a lot of my time avoiding but it just happens. I've been doing BJJ, Judo and catch wrestling for a while now. You think anybody gets to gouge my eyes or any of that nonsense if I don't want them to? One of the first things I learned was to keep people's hands out of my face, why would I let some goon on the street do it? People don't get the chance, because the positions you learn in any grappling art exist because they limit those opportunities. Nobody's gouging your eyes while you're sitting on top of them in side control because if they try, you move your head and then punch them in the face until they stop doing it. Brock's on an entirely different, terrifying level from me or just about anybody walking the street. I don't worry too much about him fighting a guy who has had a bunch of frankly outlandish stories thrown about him.

Meng. I was reading that list of things he did and was worried he was standing behind me.

Hands down it's Meng in his prime. If we're talking a full on non-sanctioned brawl, that's who you go with. Deep down, Brock is a teddy bear. He's paid to fight and sure, dude can be a beast and ground and pound whoever. But I think we're underestimating Meng's raw strength and his Foleyesque disregard for his own body. Not to mention those he's fought.
It would be an all out war though. It wouldn't be a one-sided fight. But when it's over, Brock is dead.

Meng's raw strength? Brock's bigger and inhumanly strong even for his size. Disregard for your own body isn't a great skill in a fight, maybe good for a quick lucky shot, but beyond that, you're hurting yourself.

Strength, stamina and, you know, viciousness are pretty much all that matters in a fight. Who cares how big somebody is? I know scores of big people who have lost big legit fights to small people. I think some are putting too much investment in Brock's size. What the f*** would Haku care about Brock's size? Hell, what did Kurt Angle care about Brock's size?

Something tells me that in a no rules fight, Brock would have no issue biting a nose or plucking an eyeball if he had to. Sure Meng may have been crazy back in the day. But who's to say Brock isn't crazy too?

I'm saying, you have a guy who's strong for his size, and a bigger guy who's even stronger for his, you can't say "We're ignoring Meng's raw strength" then ignore it when the other guy's power is brought up. Haku wouldn't care about his size, he'd go for the fight, but can't you say the same in the other direction? In a street fight, you don't think Brock's gonna get vicious? Yeah Kurt Angle beat him, but that was in a pure wrestling match backstage, not even an MMA fight, and far from a streetfight. The guy with better wrestling technique won. Just like the comparisons from UFC to a back alley fight aren't that valid because of the lack of rules, comparing it to a wrestling match with even more restrictions holds even less weight.

People picking a guy based on likely lies of fights with drunks over a man who legit won the heavyweight in MMA shows how wrestlers are justified in thinking fans are still marks. Brock has proven himself in a public setting for all earth to see - Haku hasn't. There is no debate.
f***ing ludicrous.

There's a huge difference between being a vicious bully and actually being strong and a good fighter. My vote's still with Brock on this one.

We'll never know, but Brock is the logical choice. Haku sure sounds like a badass, though.
What about Ken Shamrock?

Unproven =/= Untrue Saying that Brock would definitely win is also ludicrous in your scenario. Of course Brock would be who you would put your money on, but you're trying to prove a definite when there are unknown factors (in this case: Haku's true skill). Someone claiming a certainty when they themselves admit that they don't know all the facts are, in my opinion, more ignorant than those betting on the dark horse. You can't say "there is no debate" and selfishly try to shut the discussion down when the whole argument centers around an unknown, and debatable, factor.

There is no debate because Haku never proved himself. Lots of people train martial arts - doesn't make them a badass. People's friends with embellish stories for them. He has no basis to be believed as a Brock beater. Is Haku a bad dude? I'm sure of it - you couldn't pay me to f*** with him. That is not merit enough to say he could beat Brock though. Booker T and R-Truth are tough and can handle themselves as people have noted and by their pasts too. Wouldn't say they are gonna beat Jon Jones though.
