He's been on one hell of a run this year in terms of having consistently great matches and there's more to come. Is it safe to say he's one of the best in-ring workers of all time? Hell, maybe even the one wrestler who has aged the best as he's gotten older?

Same five moves every match...calls them louder than the announce team.

If you completely ignore technique, then maybe.

No
But he doesn't need to be. To be a top star, you only need to do simple things but do them right.

He manages to have a good match with almost everyone on the roster. He is up there.

If he isn't, he *just* barely misses being on the list.

Depends on your metric. I will say that when his career is done, his best matches will compare favorably to the ones of previous main eventers, and his legacy is probably a secure one.

He doesn't sell very well, does terrible looking moves like drop kicks and hurricanranas and does weird cartoony things like diving for covers with his arms straight in the air with his fingers spread out BUT he still has great matches.
So in conclusion: I...errr.....don't know?

He's one of the greatest but also one of the loudest.

I think the trouble is that his matches are like Kurt Angle's, in that they have a lot of flashy moves and dramatic kick outs of finishers, and sometimes that's all you want from a match and if I saw it at a live show I'd think 'oooh, neat'. But it doesn't tell much of a story in the ring, which is what I'd want from an 'all time great'. The difference between a Spielberg and a Michael Bay.

Cena can have a good match with anyone, as long as the other person isn't Randy Orton, so yes.
That's not even a knock on Orton, they just don't click at all.

Or, I'll at least say this much: he's better than the fat bastard he's feuding with.

Great worker who is booked like *bleep* which will unfairly be held against him when his career comes to a close.

So in conclusion: I...errr.....don't know? Yeah it's a tough call. His strength, agility and stamina are really impressive but he calls spots too loudly, does corny no selling, a lot of his moves are sloppy...he's awful at as many things he's great at.
