That powerbomb he gave Sheamus on Monday was NUTS. Manhandled Sheamus like nothing. I saw someone describe him as a "more athletic Vader" and thats when it all clicked. This draft is gonna do wonders for him!
Anyone else high on Apollo?

He's fine in the ring, never seen anyone really disagree with that.
Still outside the ring he doesn't offer much, needed more time in NXT to get a character, draft or no draft he needs to talk at some point.

I think that they called him up too fast, but yeah, he will likely benefit from the draft.

He's alright, the few times he's gotten to speak he seemed fine. He's the kind of guy that could use a manager.

Rocky Maivia was good in the ring but he got stale quick.

Crews is like Vader with a completely different look, personality, and ring style.

Dude's great in the ring, he just needs more of a personality beyond being a nice guy.

His entrance still irks me. He does all these cues for pyrotechnics or smoke (as he had in NXT) in his routine, but then nothing happens. Yet, there's a clip of his entrance with smoke coming out of the ground in his Titantron video.
I know it's not the biggest concern of his main roster experience, but it is pretty indicative of the attention to detail (or lack thereof) that's being given to him.

As others have said, he is fine in the ring. Generic smiling face isn't doing him any favors though. Guy needs a character to connect to. I honestly don't know what you would give him though character wise.

My take is he's an amazing athlete, but as it stands there's nothing really to latch onto in his matches when you get past the spectacle and he has the personality of a plank of wood. He should still be in NXT.

Nope. Dude is great in the ring but is currently the blandest guy on the roster. when your entire gimmick can be summed up with there's a problem.

Crewes has all the in ring tools in the world. He seems to have a charisma about him. He needs a character and a reason to care about him.
I honestly think tagging him with somebody and having a tag team would do wonders for him.

I honestly think tagging him with somebody and having a tag team would do wonders for him. I think it could be interesting to try him as a heel... without really changing his gimmick at all. He's still a smiling, happy guy just effortlessly, flashily wrecking people, he's just a dick about it. Might be interesting.

With all due respect "more athletic Vader" is the worst description of Crews I will ever hear.

What they have to do is hire Tozawa after the tournament and have the two of them team up as Mad Blankey
