He outlived a lot of his peers. Very sad way to end the day. :/ EDIT: Wait, he posted on Twitter 4 hours ago about being with Al Snow at WrestleCon? I saw that but it may not have been him tweeting. I know of many wrestlers like the Iron Sheik, Virgil, Ric Flair and others that have agents running their account for them.

This came out of nowhere. He was a great big man, who was very mobile for his size. It's a shame that he didn't get his much-deserved induction into the Hall of Fame. He seemed like a pretty cool guy on Twitter as well. Now he'll get as many 5 counts as he wants to in Heaven.
RIP King Kong Bundy.

Bundy was great pre-WWF, he could hang against the Road Warriors, at that time most guys would just take their lumps. The tag team of Bundy and Big John Studd were awesome on the house show circuit.
R.I.P. good sir.

He didn't do much for me in the ring especially in 1995 but he had a interesting look. RIP

One of the most memorable big men in history. Main evented Mania and thus should be in the HOF. RIP.

Man that's not a good morning read. He was a great big man of wrestling (heck I own his action figure, for me that is a rarity).
1,2,3,4,5.
RIP King Kong Bundy

I hope WWE gives him a 10 bell salute tonight. And I really hope someone then yells "FIFTEEN!" and the bell gets rung 5 more times.

Its amazing to realize how short his main event run in the WWF was in the 80’s, it seemed like he was on top for far longer than that. Also crazy realizing how different the landscape was then; when it came to “hosses” you really only had him, Andre, and Studd. Today there are so many monsters it completely loses its meaning.

When I first started watching in the mid 80s he looked like an indestructible monster to 11 year old me and everything that a bad guy wrestler should be. Sad news. Sleep well, sir.

RIP sir. He was just before my time but was one of those few wrestlers I just always knew of as if he was still on TV. Also, please let it be known forever that EDIT: news of King Kong Bundy's death was reported on March 5thThis certainly wasn't expected. as his Twitter is advertising appearances months from now. He posted 3 hours before news of his death was being reported, so his passing sounds horribly sudden.

He no showed a convention in January. I never got to meet him or find out why. Maybe it was health related now. Still sad I never got to meet him. One of my faves. So funny in married with children and underutilized when he came back around 94.

Sad to hear...he was unique. I always thought that someone should retry the 5 count gimmick or at least we should have special 5 count matches in big feuds. Of course the idea being sort of like a last man standing match in that you would have to really destroy your opponent but I Thought it would be cool to see someone kick out at 4 1/2. Didnt Big E do the 5 count for a while?

Was lucky to meet him twice: Once at WWF Fan Fest 1995 and last year at Wrestling Under the Stars. Both times he was as nice as can be. The five count is one of my favorite gimmicks of all time.
RIP sir.

RIP Bundy
I met Bundy at a comic con a couple of years ago. I was with my wife and son who was 3-4 months old. I collect autograph 8x10s so we were getting one from him.
Bundy said "Look at that baby he must have been just born."
To horror of my wife I said "Fresh out of the box."
Bundy busted a gut laughing for a minute straight. When he stopped laughing he grabbed a second 8x10, asked for my son's name and signed it. He said "I am not going to be around when he gets older, so you show him this and tell him who I was.... and then what you said."
We joked for another couple of minutes and then went off. To me Bundy will always be a class act and one of the best meeting wrestler experiences I've had.

Big Bad Brad and I would joke with each other as we book games. One time in like 2002, I gave him King Kong Bundy. Now he did everything he could with King Kong Bundy. So we'd always joke about giving each other King Kong Bundy after that. This one hits us hard. I know Duel on NewLegacyInc might be torn up, I loved watching him main King Kong Bundy on those old 2k14 streams and spamming Body Slams every where, Just thinking about it makes me chuckle.
