It’s similar to Chicago’s gun violence. Most of the guns in Chicago comes from a single gun store across the Indiana border. It's so frustrating seeing Chicago's strict gun laws not reducing gun violence being trotted out as a reason why gun laws should be relaxed when the problem isn't the laws themselves, but the fact that circumventing them is as easy as driving for a couple of hours to somewhere that doesn't have them. Not to mention the poverty as well.

I read a recent article about that. It makes a sad amount of sense. I read an article that told the story of a fellow who makes hubs and ammunition as a sort of side hustle, and who acted so surprised when some of them were found in an FBI raid and said “If I’d known I never would have sold to him!” But I look at that and I can’t help but say-you knew, or at least you suspected. A single person buying that many guns, particularly that many of that type of gun, along with that much ammunition-it’s a safe bet to say you realized he wasn’t target shooting. Which is sensible. Even assuming you’re fine with citizens owning weapons of considerable destructive power (way beyond what’s needed to kill an animal), you sell 30 of those to the same guy and you have to wonder what may be going on there.

And I date suggest-contact the authorities and say you suspect this person is up to something?

This is really something that could have happened with any sort of weapon though, or indeed without one if the assailant was determined enough. Sad to say that stories of people being killed by other people for unbelievably petty reasons do happen every day.
