Now, I can't say I've heard one song of theirs, but everyone tells me they're waxing terrible. But they're named after Fall Out Boy from The Simpsons, right?
What're they, one of those emo bands?
All I know is, looking at that Pete Wentz guy makes me want to punch him, and I don't know anything about him!

I can't think of one of their song titles off hand, but I don't care for them at all

They're awful. Trying to continue the 'emo/pop punk' fad that I thought was already dead. And Pete Wentz is a total douchebag.
The sad (and scary?) thing is that some of the band members are pushing 30 already.

I like them. They make catchy music. It has emoness but it more of pop/punk in my opinion. If you dont like that kinda music you wont like them.

Are they the ones who do that song about "haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?"
Because that song - as much as I want to hate it - is catchy as all hell.

I have one of their shirts because I needed something for St. Patrick's day last year and theres was the only green one I liked, mostly for the Simpsons reference and it had a tiger on it. Then a couple of months later I heard one of their songs and I thought they were awful. Now when I wear the shirt I get asked if I like the band and I say "No, I hate the band, but I look good wearing it"

I don't understand why the magazines and their people don't get cover shots of the dorky looking guys with their shirts off instead of the hot guy with his shirt off. I mean the lead singer is dorky looking and isn't the lead singer supposed to be the center piece of attention, even if he looks dorky?

I like em, they have good pop songs. I'm sick of people saying they are sell out's. What, just because they can write better songs than you they are sell outs? Pleeeeeeasse.
'Sugar We're Going Down' was one of the best songs of last year. And yes i have a straight face when i say that.
Would i punch Pete Wentz in the face though? You damn right.

Fall Out Boy, Evergreen Terrace and Tastes Like Burning are examples of awesome Simpsons references don't necessarily result it great bands.
Fortunately, there's still The Christ Punchers, though.....

Thnks Fr The Mmrs is a great song and This Aint a Scene is one of the best songs ive heard in recent time. Also Ifinity on High is a great album and I cant really think of a song which is that bad on it.

I like their old stuff. Pretty much all the stuff before From Under The Cork Tree.
But if you don't, that's fine. Just stop calling for the death of genres of music you don't like. Completely retarded.

Just stop calling for the death of genres of music you don't like. Completely retarded. Amen! I'm generally not into this pop-punk genre all that much, but I do like Fallout Boy. More or less because they're kind of a caricature of their genre and don't take themselves too seriously. They just make fun catchy music. And "Sugar We're Going Down" is pretty much my theme song for last year. By the way, the song with the line "haven't you people ever heard of closing the God damn door" is called I Write Sins, Not Tragedies by Panic! At The Disco.

I really think it was funny to say they are "trying to continue the emo fad" when they had albums out before most of the "emo fad" bands were even formed. Don't judge a band by the singles either, that is a very lazy thing to do. Take This to Your Grave is still one of my favorite albums and I listen to it all the time.
