who would you say is the worst? I was too young to experience HBK and diesels reigns, but out of Rollins and reigns I’d say Rollins was worse booked. Seth is def made to be a top heel, Roman I feel like could of been a star if booked correctly

Probably Lex Luger. His 1994 theme was pretty cool, though.

I'm voting Seth because at least HBK and Diesel had charisma

Seth isn't the only reason I barely watch WWE anymore, but he's a big one. So him.
In his defense though, only an Austin type could compel me to watch anything that 70+ year old Vince is writing.

The hate for Roman was relentless. In light of Seth’s awful run this year he seems cooler no doubt but the fans were very resistant to him as the top guy more so than Seth or Diesel or anyone else you want to name other than Cena who at least sold a ton of merch and got massively over.

I feel like the term Top Guy might be getting confused with World Champion which aren't exactly the same thing. JBL was a world champion...he was never the top guy (Trips didn't work thursdays you know). So by that measure, I never felt like Diesel was the top guy in the company. Roman was definitely the top guy even before he was champion. Cena was the top guy over Punk during his championship run as well.

Seth would have been/would be fine if the WWE weren't so god damn dumb these days, and if Seth wasn't a thin skinned bitch.
People were behind him big time when he went Iron Man in that gauntlet match. Dude was bringing it big time in the ring, and he wasn't saying stupid shit on the mic and on Twitter yet.
But again, Vince and Seth ultimately f***ed themselves. With dumbass storylines, segments, matches, and Seth crying on Twitter.

Seth, his public contempt for fans who aren't just pure WWE fans makes him just the worst.

Rollins is booked terribly, but Romans forced push was just unmatched levels of ridiculous. Atleast Cenas peak hatred time (06) only went about a year or so. Roman was that levels of hated by the fans for three times the length. It's only the fact that Rollins is the current guy that makes people think hes worse.

I really, really want to say Michaels, but his '97 heel run was great. So, I gotta say the next closest thing. Sorry, Seth. Well, not really.

Diesel and HBK were before my time watching so I can’t really comment on them on a personal level.
It’s in vogue to hate on Rollins right now, but he’s still capable of putting on great matches, he can deliver promos and he usually gets very strong reactions. The Fiend feud is throwing a big spanner in that, but still..
Roman’s time at the top was undoubtedly the worst push I’ve seen in WWE history. He was given material that didn’t suit him and that he couldn’t adequately deliver. His matches were repetitive, boring and poorly booked. But worst of all was that, overwhelmingly, the fans told WWE ”We don’t want this” and they kept going. For years. These weren’t reactions you could put a positive spin on, they were downright disastrous. Cena set the precedent for the babyface face of the company who some fans hated, but Cena was incredibly over with the younger fan base. Roman never had that to start with, and he never reached that despite his ridiculously strong push. The fact that they continued to push him despite the negative reaction was the strongest proof ever that WWE really doesn’t care about what the fans think or say, they’re just gonna do what they want anyway.
Also, they still made him Brock’s bitch for some reason.

Now that you mention Lesnar, why does HE get off scot-free in this? His presence (and lack thereof) seems to do more damage than anything.

Given a lot of distaste for Rollins comes from his insecure tweets imagine if social media had existed during dickhead era HBK when he was top guy and how Nash would have reacted when he was struggling to draw during his run as champ.

Reigns was just as bad when his absolutely dreadful, horrendously forced push began 5 years ago. Of course after half a decade of being untouchable despite being the most hated "top babyface" in history and an actual wellness violation that did nothing to interrupt his four consecutive, undeserved WM main events hes going to be more easy going and willing to go against the grain a bit. If Rollins had that half a decade worth of forced push, he'd likely be more like current day Reigns in regards to his spot and attitude in the company.

In terms of my enjoyment? John Cena.
The guy was UNBEARABLE from 2007-2013. Now? I’ve become a fan of his. Probably because he’s no longer unbeatable and is actually booked like a human being now.
His US Title run with the Open Challenges kinda swayed me. He can put on some amazing matches with the new guys.
I also enjoy his movies.
In terms of how a top guy should act and represent the company etc? It has to be Rollins. The guy is a PR disaster and needs to stay off social media. But I love the guy and his matches. So I can’t say he’s the worst.
