Hahaha yeah...I'm not too big of a fan of Arctic Monkeys really. They're not my thing.

Yeah, I already knew what the results would be before I even looked. And I totally agree.

As promised, my top 10 of 2006: 1. My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade 2. The Killers - Sam's Town 3. The Kooks - Inside In/Inside Out 4. Lostprophets - Liberation Transmission 5. Muse - Blackholes & Revelations 6. Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not 7. Gallows - Orchestra Of Wolves 8. Boy Kill Boy - Civilian 9. Killswitch Engage - As Daylight Dies 10. Panic! At The Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out That was pretty hard to narrow down really, but still not as many good albums last year as 05 or 04 IMO. Killswitch Engage is another big favorite of mine. I like AFI, too.

Time for the honourable mentions of which I spoke earlier! Honestly there are more than this, but these were the only ones I could think of at the moment. I'll add to it as they come to me Drop Dead, Gorgeous - In Vogue Brazil - The Philosophy of Velocity HORSE the band - The Pizza EP Rise Against - The Sufferer and the Witness Saosin - Saosin The Scissor Sisters - Ta-Dah Taking Back Sunday - Louder Now

f*** yes. The Pizza EP was pretty damn amazing. Only HORSE the Band could make the teenage mutant ninja turtles theme song even more awesome.

I've never heard of HORSE. You should check 'em out. They're a hardcore band that's heavily synth-based...they use the same synthesizer that the NES used, so like...their music is all fast and hardcore, but videogamey at the sametime. There are only a couple songs actually based around games, but they're really really amazing.

Last year was "Act I: The Lake South, The River North" which is considered an EP, but it's about 7 tracks in over a half an hour. "Act II" comes out within the next month or so.
