I was lamenting the other day how Cody still uses the damn crossroads, but then I was watching Raw and remembered the Overdrive by mvp.
How does that even hurt?
Also, I still hate the flying head butt and don’t understand why it’s still a thing in 2022

Never understood the flying headbutt either.
Also, any variation of the cutter that's done on a chair, table, etc

Canadian Destroyer. if you think about it even a little bit it kills the suspension of disbelief, because you realize the person getting hit with the move is doing most of the work

When a wrestler is in the tree of woe and decides the best solution to this predicament is to sit up to receive a double foot stomp.
I can buy into all sorts of ridiculous moves from the people's elbow to invisible hand grenades but that is the dumbest. Takes too long, no logic, isn't even that cool.

Bucklebomb. You couldn't pay me enough to let someone throw me backwards so my head and neck hit a chunk of metal under some thin padding. The mat is dangerous enough, the bucklebomb doesn't look good enough to justify the additional risk.

Undertaker walking the top rope while the guy holding his hand just watches him.

Not to diminish your point, because I do believe it is a dangerous move, but I believe they are supposed to hit with their upper back, not the head and neck. Now, to me that would cause a whiplash thing to happen (see Sting), so still very much not good.

Undertaker walking the top rope while the guy holding his hand just watches him. I think we are supposed to believe the guy is supposedly in so much pain that he can’t move.

Lethal Injection-A fancy handspring into the ropes just to rebound into a cutter, and requires the opponent to cooperate by standing in the middle of the ring.
Rebound Lariat-Ducking out of the ropes isn't going to add more impact to the move. I'm glad Moxley stopped doing it, but Kyle O'Reilly still does.

He's in so much pain but he can walk carefully while staring up at Taker with an expectant look on his face. I like it when they are trying to beg off while Taker is doing the move when literally all they have to do is give his arm the slightest tug.

the fact that wrestling fans almost collectively accept an Irish Whip, no move is too dumb for me

I said that years ago, and was told that the turning upside down then rotating back forward adds momentum. I still don't buy it.

the fact that wrestling fans almost collectively accept an Irish Whip, no move is too dumb for me At least with that, it's not an impact move. Yea, it might send them into the barricade or ringpost, but the move itself doesn't cause an impact. But when a move is supposed to create an impact and doesnt look like it really does (Playmaker/Overdrive), or doesnt look like it creates more impact than a standard version of a move (Rebound Lariat), that can take away from the match. Also, I think some of the logic of the Irish whip is you are hoping to use the momentum to your advantage on a counter, or you're running based on instinct.

619 (the setup as opposed to the hurricanranna or splash)

Shooting Star Press. Even the smoothest SSP looks more awkward and less impactful than an average moonsault or senton bomb, let alone a BME or a Swanton.

619 (the setup as opposed to the hurricanranna or splash) I mean it's ok when he hurricanranna's them into position, and I guess the drop kick to the knee is OK, but they don't always set it up that way. I wouldn't mind if he used it to kick somneone in the back or stomach on occasion. I just get tired of the "I somehow got draped on the ropes" setup.
