There's now apparently a petition to reshoot the movie. Just form a cyberbully cult on Twitter, then. Worked for ZSJL. I'll just never get people who do stuff like that. It's so silly.

Worked for ZSJL.Can we PLEASE NOT with bringing the Zack Snyder shit into every thread where someone doesn't like a film? It doesn't need to be said each and every time. You can let a let a few of them pass without it.

Honestly, even the worst F13th film was at least humorously entertaining. Halloween just has some plain bad films in it's filmography

To follow up on my previous post. How many here would watch Dr Loomis in the Halloweenverse of madness?

This movie was trash, IMHO. It is one of the only movies I've seen that I wish I could receive a refund for. The actual ending was beyond anticlimactic. I kept expecting something more to happen, some twist so I sat through the end credits but there was nothing...
0.5 out of 5 stars, horrid.

How does Laurie defeat him so easily when before she had to have an entire house booby trapped to even stand a chance?
It felt like going the Childs Play route of having Myers’ guide our next generation boogeyman. Disappointing movie. Yup, I was expecting something epic akin to this Film Theory video and received something akin to Busta Rhymes v. Michael from Halloween Resurrection but even crappier. It was the letdown of all letdowns.

I liked it more than Kills I think probably because I was moaning all the way through Kills about how dumb the characters were. There are moments of that in this film but not to the same degree.
The opening scene left my jaw on the floor very good opening scene. The story did feel like it should have been something more built up or used if they ever make another movie. Alyson falling in love so easily didn’t make a lot of sense but at least she was aware of Cory’s existence.
The end of the movie did seem a bit laughable to me but after Kills I should have expected it. The weakness of Myers here was tough to understand. Also why did he just hang around in the shadows for 4 years when he’s obsessed with killing people?
I’m not in any hurry for another Halloween film at all. It will happen of course but I hope not.

It'll happen. It's an easy pay day for whoever makes it. I give it... a decade at absolute most before we get a new one.

I certainly enjoyed the Red Letter Media review of it...but haven't actually watched the movie itself.

I give it a 0 percent chance we don’t get the next one in 2028 for the 50th anniversary "Fifty years ago, Evil was born. Six years ago, Evil Died. Tonight, it's Reborn." --HALLOWEEN: REBORN-- {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} When Haddonfield teens decide to give the corpse of Corey Cunningham the "Michael Myers" treatment, they accidentally resurrect the killer who dawns a Michael Myers mask, never corrects anyone who calls him Michael Myers, and legally changes his name as he goes through the movement and murder motions of Michael Myers.
Oh, and the hero is a Twitch Streamer.
Opening October 20, 2028.

Watched it tonight and I’m like what the f*** did I just watch
An entire film filled with illogical actions and unlikeable people
Allyson falling in love and leaving town with a guy she’s known for like 2 days? Who’s clearly shown to be unhinged. And turning on Laurie as a result (until the last min)
Michael not showing up till 40 odd mins and have been living in a sewer for 4 years? Eh?
Also people from town randomly coming up to Laurie and blaming her for Michaels actions? Okay sure

I still kinda wish Halloween 2018 was the finale. Kills was just there (and plenty of mistakes made in that movie, too), and Ends is... well, Ends.

Whatever…every franchise should be so lucky to have as much conversation and division over their 13th installment

Have Rob Zombie make a sequel to his Halloween 2 but limit him to the same cast and budget as his Munsters adaptation, it'd probably be entertaining if nothing else.
