As I said in the WWE board, Triple H SHOULD be embarrassed about not getting Ospreay. WWE are the industry leader and if he can't offer competitive deals with a company that has half his audience he's going to be in big trouble. I truly hope this was just a situation where he failed to read the room and not someone above him slashing his hiring budget. It's a seller's market and he's acting like it's a buyers market. "You may headline WrestleMania one day" isn't the selling point it used to be; you can't feed your kids or spend time with your family with that.

Got overshadowed by the Punk stuff, which I think was just as well.
It's just the most lazy dust-covered possible take to shoot back at Triple H with by now. Not even that Osprey wasn't entitled to fire a shot back, but a "you married the boss's daughter" and pelvic thrusting, really?
Terminal lack of imagination.
Renee didn't exactly look thrilled either, she's still on good friendly terms with both Hunter and Steph, isn't she?

So much for Keller saying it was TK forcing him to cut that promo.

Bruv shouldve said right after that something along the words of "And you gained a weird fanbase that call you Papa and see you as Savior of the Business" while acting sarcastic.

Honestly? I couldn’t say I could blame him for wanting to say something.
The quote he put out about WWE wasn’t anything derogatory, just that he praised AEW to be more accommodating to what he wants from his life because he felt like he was away for his family for so long between the European indies, America and Japan so when he was looking for his next step, he was looking to get that accommodated in some way and went with the better offer. By all accounts, even the WWE source said negotiations were respectable and he was wished the best.
So to have that guy turn around on national TV, during the company’s biggest weekend ever, to say that he didn’t have the “grind” because he chose less work for more money? Yeah, I’d be pissed too. Whether you think the shot was right or not, I can see the logic behind it.
EDIT: Also, Renee (and Tony Schiavone, for that matter) look that way of every time a heel does something dastardly, the narrative that this was the first time they’re doing it from some people just means they don’t pay attention to the product.

“Pretty sick burn”- The year 2005. By then it was getting stale. They've been married for 20 years, and have 3 daughters. It's long passed time to talk shit on their relationship. It also ignores that Hunter was already established as a main eventer before hooking up with Stephanie.

Rightly or Wrongly, and whether it's all just HHH being an arrogant jerk, or if it's TKO tightening the purse strings, it's starting to create the image that WWE is not a desirable place to go ("Hey, come put your body at more risk for less money!"). TK should capitalize on this for as long as he can, and HHH/TKO had better get their crap together on that front.

Not a fan of biting back at the comments on TV, especially on the same show as the All In footage aired, but tbh if you chat shit about someone, expect them to give some back.

He’s justified to say whatever, but what a lazy ass joke. We were making “lol the son in law” jokes in 2004.

Say what you will about the caliber of Ospreay's joke but HHH had it coming.

I probably wouldn't have done it on the same show as the Punk footage, but I am fine with what Ospreay said. A strong part of Ospreay's persona is that he is the best wrestler in the world because of how hard he works. HHH acting like anyone in Ospreay's position is running from the grind is an insulting take.

For as tough as the WWF schedule was at times, it was nothing compare to the territory schedule many people did, especially if you’re a bigger name. It’s why people accepted it at that time, more money for “less” work and only dealing with one shady booker instead of 20,000 of them.

Renee looked so uncomfortable, you could tell she didn't want to be doing that interview.

I thought it was a great promo and good on Will for clapping back.
Don’t let the substance get lost in the sauce because you think he made a “dated” reference.
Trips (who I’ve always been a fan of dating all the way back to him being HBK’s second) is not some untouchable God King who can pop off at the mouth and not catch a receipt (like Uncle Dave seems to think) and Will - who’s really been in a groove with his promo segments lately - had every goddamn right to fire back, especially if he felt his integrity/commitment to the business had been questioned.

Renee looked so uncomfortable, you could tell she didn't want to be doing that interview. Again, she has that look on for most heel interviews and face ones when they say something worth a reaction. She did that look when Saraya was calling out Ruby Soho on Rampage.

I just want to add this, for being the market leader that plays into that they think it's a privilege for guys to work there. Also if TKO runs WWE anything like they run UFC get ready for a ton of guys to leave. Anyone that asked for a raise in UFC that wasn't Jon Jones or Connor McGregor got told to get f***ed, they think the brand sells the show so they paid the obvious top 3-5 guys and no one else.
