such a concept... what other mashups like this could exist? MacGyver meets The A-Team? Knight Rider meets The A*Team would also have worked and could have been done as even though they were created by different people both shows were on NBC and produced by Universal. And come on who wouldn't have wanted a scene of B.A driving KITT and having MR.T and William Daniels going back and forth with each other? KITT: You know, B.A., you could stand to lose a few pounds. Do you really need all of that jewelry on you? Doesn't that slow you down?
B.A.: SHUT UP, SUCKA! I'LL SEND YOU TO THE JUNKYARD IF YOU DON'T HUSH, FOOL!

Technically speaking, it now falls under The Disney umbrella since they bought fox. Maybe they’ll be selling them next to the mouse ears. MWC is owned by Sony. You could also rock the FANG shirt. There are a lot more “Gyno” Americans in the world today. That shirt would be a hit. You're right. These Rhyno-Americans need our respect. I say that we give each of these Gynosauruses something they really need...mustache combs. HAHAHA!

Best sports-related music ever? When that one song hit, you knew it was about to go down. They created such an atmosphere for the biggest sport. You knew it was big, but you didn't know how hard it was to recreate that until it was gone and there's nothing like it anymore. As soon as I read this the song was playing in my head. youtu.be/VXuXBLlfxRoyoutu.be/pGIa1wmjMnYwww.youtube.com/watch?v=0IrHdNSkJZI
Berman made it work. BACK, BACK, BACK, BACK...

No. There's nothing 'happy' about an arbitrary change of the calendar date, and new years resolutions don't work and are a bunch of nonsense for the most part. I don't understand why people celebrate the new year, when it doesn't change any of the worlds problems. Or anyones personal problems for that matter. It just seems like a pointless excuse to 'celebrate' something for no reason. Boy, for a metal slime, you sure are downbeat.

And that would've been a terrible business decision. For Ted Turner to let his fandom keep costing him money. We are talking about more than sixty million in losses. Why would AOL and Time Warner keep a dead brand in wcw that was hemorrhaging money? Bad business decision or not Ted loved wrestling and always wanted wrestling on his channels. And really it ain't like he was spending our money so why care. Once Ted left, it was over.
I once heard that WCW was 'profitable' in the early 90s because some of their losses were moved to other areas of the company. My conspiracy theory side thinks that back in the early 2000s, some of those losses were from other areas of Time-Warner and were moved to WCW. I have no evidence to back me up, however.
BTW, Time Warner lost a billion dollars over a quarter back in 2001.

Reading the replies, I find it kind of odd that nobody has come up with any arguments as to why sex shouldn't be outlawed. Because it's dirty and leads to STD's, unwanted pregnancy, and other negative things? Plus by eliminating all sexual desire it would solve a lot of the worlds problems... Not sure I would go about outlawing the only natural way of reproduction. Plus like, how would you ever enforce it? Unless you're planning on having police in every bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, restaurant booth (what? I'm sure it happens), or car, you're kinda screwed here. Well in the scenario I came up with, I was thinking that maybe scientists could develop some sort of thing to either put into the planets atmosphere/air supply, or spray across the entire planet, that would take away all sexual desire/feelings/pleasure etc. So in this scenario, people wouldn't want to have sex for pleasure, so it would police itself. As for reproduction, I guess people could still have sex then, but they'd have to apply for permission to do so. So this is a joke right? Otherwise this is the most WTF question I have read in some time. I'm not joking. I am being hypothetical, but I'm not joking. At that point you might as well also outlaw eating, drinking water and breathing. Why? You need those things to survive, you don't need sex to survive.Uhh...yeah, we do! How else are we gonna procreate?

The problem is the amount of profitability that they have. If they are only pulling in only $20 million profit like Carter said, then there is no way he's getting a billion for it. Let me go to each one of your points.
1. I'm not saying no one would be interested, but which big name brand would want it? Turner had to fight just to keep WCW from being sold.
2. Maybe true, but once you start chipping away at the hardcore fans, they are hard to bring back.
3. I'm gonna say something controversial here, but it's the honest truth: some of you guys here need to get out of your bubble and get with reality. Wrestling is seen as a joke and no one is gonna take it seriously. The ones who do don't have the money that Vince wants to sell it for. Disney ain't even gonna TOUCH the WWE.
Disney once bought the Power Rangers and made those old episodes into an edited mess. Do you really think they are gonna put that much effort into the brand they know nothing about? Besides, the wrestling business is still full of carnies. Do you think this company will still be up if an Eric Bischoff-type starts to go all 'ATM Eric' on Disney?
4. I would doubt that any of that would happen. If that were true, then he'd be all over other networks and magazines besides the ones WWE owns and pays for.
But the thing is WWE has the audience. So, WWE as a promotion might be barely profitable, but there's def ways a non wrestling company could benefit. Think if something like facebook bought wwe and ran Heat on their video platform. It not only adds legitimacy to their platform but undoubtedly would bring a ton of advertisers to their site. No, it wouldn't. The advertisers aren't exactly bringing their 'A-game' dollars to wrestling. The ad revenue wouldn't cover the cost of buying it.

I don't know who wouldn't buy it if they had enough money.. The WWE brand is probably the most consistent brands slightly on the level of Nfl, nba, ect, and the fact it's a profitable business does not hurt at all. The problem is the amount of profitability that they have. If they are only pulling in only $20 million profit like Carter said, then there is no way he's getting a billion for it. I'm surprised people think nobody will be interested. Despite a drop in viewers, WWE is a recognisable brand known around the world. All it needs is a good Captain to steer the ship rather than the idiots they have in charge now and I'm sure viewing figures will jump back up. WWE's problems aren't from a lack of interest in wrestling, just that the writers and bookers are woefully shit. Disney is a name what's been thrown around and yeah, I think they'd do a good job. Disney tends to be good quality and they've done good with Star Wars and Marvel (Movie and TV show wise, can't comment on comics since I stopped reading them years ago). Plus if Disney were at the helm, New Day might finally get a world title push. Big E especially just looks tailormade to be the main guy in a Disney-run WWE. He looks great, fun to watch, is hilarious and charismatic, comes across as a likeable guy. I could see Disney loving him. Let me go to each one of your points.

The NFL has basically become the NWA circa 1988 and the Patriots are Ric Flair. I can't believe that no one has made the correlation that the NFL's ratings and attendance might be down because the same F'N team is constantly on top and doing screwjob crap to win. I've said for a long time that Brady is one of the reasons for the ratings decline. The Spurs have the same problem...they are a boring team that wins boringly. It doesn't help that their biggest stars are huge douchebags.

God, I hope not. I know it's just a, "These guys are on good terms with us," thing but man, it should have SOME standards. The WWE is gonna need some space filler, so ANYONE who wants to get in probably will.
BTW, Ivan should definitely be in, if it were legit.

If WWE is so popular, then why is the USA network the only one not to cancel WWE programming? Do they know someone in the corporate offices of USA? Hmm...
