Happy for the guy. Not only does he have a natural charisma that's impossible to teach, but he's really put in the work.

I still enjoy Jericho's work, but I honestly don't know if I really do or if it's just a defense mechanism that I get when some of my most beloved wrestling personalities are constantly crapped on. I had the same feeling when JR was getting ripped left and right a year or two ago.

It legit beat everything not NBA. It's the same story every week. Consistently in the top 5. Which is why I'm always mystified that people say AEW is dying and that it'll be hard for them to get a TV deal. Like why wouldn't you want to have a Top 5 program if you ran a cable company. I'm also mystified that some think 750k viewers a show is some sort of horrid number, unless they're really comparing it to 1998. It's almost like reverse inflation, where today making $50k a year isn't amazing money but in 1998 it was pretty damn good.

This has reached a level of hype that I think it's going to be really difficult to deliver on, short of the footage depicting CM Punk comically slipping on a banana peel while trying to lunge at Jack Perry, then sobbing in fear and begging for his life until Samoa Joe steps in to save him. But man, I am more excited to watch tonight than I have been about any wrestling show in quite a while. I'm fully expecting to be slightly disappointed, but I don't care, it's worth the giddy feeling right now of possibly seeing that jackass punk look like a jackass.

If they're putting it on TV, they want it to lead to something in the ring. The something the fans want is punk getting his ass whooped by the Bucks. That's likely never gonna happen, so this feels like a waste of time. If Phil comes off looking foolish, it will be the best type of time wasting ever

If this is real then the shtstorm will be legendary tomorrow.
I really hope that's true, especially if it came from former MMA "star" CM Punk. The laughter would last for years...at least here.

Is it going to draw any ratings? Sell any tickets? Sell any merch? If the answer to all of the above is no, then it’s not worth doing. It will entertain me, so it's definitely worth doing.

I love bullshit like this in wrestling, even if I know I'm going to get let down later. Tomorrow can't come soon enough.

Dynamite isn't just gonna be the footage, there'll probably be matches, too Nah according to Wade Keller, this is going to be a 2 hour Warren Commission of the Brawl In incident Don't threaten me with a good time.

I'm all for this, but admittedly I dug the petty back and forthness of the Attitude Era.

Just when I thought Punk couldn't be more of a massive douchebag, he opens his mouth.

I don't know how to interpret ratings anymore. I wish there were some system where it would tell you basically how much over or under the average rating is for the week/month/year or whatever it is.

People online actually like the name "Mr. Wardlow" it seems, I would roll with it and give it to him to play off his new arrogant persona he showed tonight A flub you can really turn into some Lemonade imo Honestly this. A lot of wrestling screw-up turn to gold. Running with flubs or whatever the public seems to like is always the best way to go thru these things. Vince had such an ego that he often wouldn't, but hopefully Khan and/or Wardlow don't.

This is the only WWE event I watch every year, just because I love it, but it was pretty boring.
Nothing was really bad about it either, and WWE has some good talent lately, but Andrade was the big Rumble surprise? Meh.

I’m sure there’ll be more to the story.. Haussman better make sure he has bullets in the gun he's about to fire because if he misses, he'll be in litigation hell and his reputation will be ruined. Plus Punk won't save his ass either. But Punk has such a solid history of supporting his friends who are in legal trouble.

This is nearly as funny as the story about him charging for prom dates, even though that was probably fake.

This is the equivalent of leaving a concert and seeing all those bootleg sellers outside selling a-size-smaller-than-they-say knockoffs of the band's shirts except one of the people with a box is the band's bassist. Not gonna lie, that would make my life if I ever saw that, especially if it were a well known band.
