What cinches this deal is the fact that Bret Hart did the Simpsons, and there are probably about 20 other wrestlers they would have picked ahead of Dogg if they put another wrestler on the show in like 1999 or whatever.
And I really enjoyed Dogg and the whole DX thing back in the day. I don't really want to bash him, but this take is just terrible.

Was it supposed to be a weed smoking thing? Like the name was, but as a 20 year old stoner at the time just looking for any other references, I don't remember any.

None of them are strip malls, I take it? I just hope Miro has an IRON CLAD contract

Finally, a post on a 54 page!
Unless I bump it to a 55 page.

I liked Dogg back in the day, but man this is a dumb take.

I hope it was a petty "f*** you" move to Punk. I kinda doubt it was, but still, if it got him irate good. f*** him.

I really wish he never would have done that Global Force Gold thing, because that soured me on him as a person. That said, hopefully not many rubes were fooled by it (thus little damage was done with his ripoff scheme), and I enjoy him as a performer, so there's that.

I have two regrets in life. One is not posting on page 540, and the other is not posting on page 554.

The Mass Transit incident remains one of the most "how did Heyman not go to prison" things among many. Heyman I always figured was largely blameless because the kid, his father and the little person wrestler all vouched for him and lied about his age. New Jack on the other hand... Yeah he was just being a depraved asshole. What I don't get is why Heyman didn't ask for an ID if he wasn't sure. If he doesn't have one that proves his age, don't book him.

Fantastic. He's one of my favorite things about AEW.

Remember that time Howard Finkel came out and introduced CM Punk and the crowd gave him such a loud pop that it brought a tear to his eye? That should've been a heartwarming moment. If it wasn't for Cole and the commentators shitting all over it and laughing at him. I'm sure that was a Vince directive. My guess is he just couldn't help himself and didn't care that Finkel was kind of admired as the ring announcing voice for WWF for ages.

Can’t believe this discussion is almost one month old! Thank you Chiral! The drawing of this is so damn hilarious. I know it was posted on a page in this thread, but f*** if I know where it is anymore.

I honestly wouldn't be outraged if he did. Ultimately I'm a wrestling fan for entertainment, and he's entertaining to me for the most part, even if I think Phil Brooks is a douchecanoe.
I don't want him to implode a wrestling company I enjoy though. So if AEW feels like he is too toxic, fine with me as well.

Will it allow me to pay DAZN 10-20 a month and to get PPVs? If so great. If not, I'm sure there are other compelling reasons for this, but none that involve me.

Meh, not that I hate the guy or anything, but it'll be hard to care one way or the other if he stays or goes.

Can we just do away with factions at this point?
