Wrestlezone is now taking Meltzer's story from his podcast yesterday morning about the amphetamines and reporting it today as a "Wrestlezone Exclusive" that they heard from "WWE Sources".

Another thing, are we supposed to feel pity for these jobbers when they make complete asses of themselves on the mic? No, the crappy promos are supposed to be annoying and establish that he's a face rather than your typical monster heel working squashes. Not sure how effective that was, it just came off mean spirited. Which would be why they jumped from just being awkward to completely heeling on the jobber's own hometown this week.

To follow up on his report. "Mike Johnson @mikepwinsider Reply Retweet Favorite · Open Well, that sucked. #noexcuses. "
And Mike Johnson is not exactly difficult to please when it comes to ECW nostalgia. I figured he would have one of the more positive reports when it came to the show.

Late but who the hell is Bruce Irvin? A third down pass rusher, High School dropout who did jail time, and character from Tekken.

The REAL question is why the hell wasn't it Otunga that brought this up instead of Eve? I guess it would have made too much sense for the LAWYER to know the rules better than anyone. Was Otunga even there? I don't remember if he was or not (I very well might have just not noticed him). I thought he was at the Hudson trial that day.

Did Cole call Hornswoggle a Chimelsaurus?

I don't know how the gimmick will actually pan out, but I came out of the segment for Husky's new character very impressed with his delivery on the mic.

Celtic Warrior was great. He was nasty, he was brutal, he set out to injure guys and he was fun. Great White is just dull... they seem to be trying to keep him a badass but he just comes across as more annoying douche now. Plus I can't take him seriously as a badass after he got made to look like a fool by Hornswoggle and did nothing about it. The Celtic Warrior injured one guy in his career, Jamie Noble, and would run from major threats like the Nexus. He injured Triple H for a better portion of the year as stated in the OP. Got blown off, and beaten up quick when Haitch came back, but it happened.

Epico didn't even get a real debut. He was just kind of there one day, then he won the tag titles at a house show. I'm sure tons of people still don't know who he is. Fitting, really, given Primo won his first tag titles in a dark match, and his debut came in the form of showing up talking to Adamle backstage before being told to get out of the way because Cena'd showed up. Primo won the Smackdown tag belts on an edition of Smackdown against Hawkins and Ryder, the dark match was a unification match after that.

They announced some Morrison vs. R-Truth match out of nowhere on Raw last Summer, way before Morrison should've been ready to return. Turned out to be another injury angle, I think a lot of people saw that one coming a mile away.

Meltzer on the free Observer Radio today made some offhand remark during the Raw recap going "They may wheel him out there for like a one minute match, it wouldn't shock me at all. I don't know ... eh, you know," In response to Alvarez saying that they did a squash match involving two guys not on the card. Hardly meant to be taken as an actual news report. That probably got exaggerated and spun by the Newz sites into "There's talk of putting Brodus in a squash at Mania!"

Florida vs. Louisville? 4 seed vs. 6 seed? Ugh. Can't remember the last time I have been less interested in an Elite 8 day game. Seriously, Norfolk State drained the interest out of the West region. 7 seed actually, but I'm looking forward to it. Florida's better than their seed imo, and at least from where I looked it seemed the general consensus was that they got underseeded.

Mark Anderson to the Bills on a 4 year deal. Hope the Pats can keep Andre Carter now. Also, another whiff for the Dolphins.
