No. It won't lead to more wrestling unless something was already in the works and I haven't read anything. I'm thinking that it will lead to more reality programming and game shows.
Hogan's Gladiator reality show being a prime example. I hear NBC will be airing it in primetime.

But if this was "real", what did that make the regular WCW programming? Did they not think what message they were sending by saying that?

It's kinda odd that Mae Young already isn't in the WWE Hall of Fame.

I didn't hear about his ankle injury.
The last thing I read was before the Rumble when it was reported that WWE didn't want to have him return in the Rumble match.
My guess is he'll return on RAW after No Way Out and get involved in the Hornswoggle storyline. Either as part of Vince's tough love or a new friend for Horny. I'm thinking RAW as opposed to No Way Out because RAW's ratings aren't doing so hot and USA has probably told WWE to save his return for RAW (just like Jericho).

Actually, the countdown show's because of a live-content quota the station has. I think that only like...30%(?) of their shows can be live feed, the rest cannot. Don't quote me on the number, it was mentioned when Raw moved to The Score and I'm just guessing based on my poor memory. I'm pretty sure that number's less than 50 percent. So it has less to do with censorship than it does with network guidelines, the origins of which I'm unsure. This is sort of correct. It has to do with the amount of non-Canadian live content The Score has.

Heroes is finished for the year though. I'm thinking if RAW got decent ratings, they might keep it on NBC till the fall season begins.

I didn't see this posted yet.
PWInsider
I would assume this is just until the writers strike is over and not a permanent move?

He does it because he is the best pure striker in the history of WWE! Thank you! That needed to be said.

Shoulda been Michael Hayes. About Michael Hayes, while I doubt he would relish not only writing the shows but also doing the colour for them, how much stress would you be in the ring or on the mic doing an interview knowing that the booker was sitting 10 feet away? No thanks, if I'm a worker.

I didn't see Shelton Benjamin mentioned in the first post. Didn't he get back-to-back-to-back wins over The Game on RAW? Trying to think back I can only recall Triple H getting one win back over Shelton. That's what we call the phantom job....he does them but then they don't matter and aren't talked about after a short period of time. But when Carlito brought out Shelton Benjamin as Triple H's opponent JR reminded us that Shelton has beaten Triple H before. So they are mentioned and not completely forgotten about. I look those wins (was it really only 1 and a countout?) as an opportunity for WWE to give Shelton the push he deserves. The logic being that if he beat Triple H, he could beat anybody. They could come up with something that he'd lost his focus...even though he didn't really win anything.

He has no need to return to WWE. He can overtake Flair's record without having to worry about Triple H or Cena thinking they deserve the belt more than him.
But as for being the best wrestler...yeah, if he can stay healthy Angle should already be considered.

The UK Sun ran this story like three weeks ago. Like two weeks ago we learned that this new promotion was actually a celebrity wrestling reality series. No matter how you look at it, this is old news.

So Hornswaggle is from Appleton and I live in Oshkosh. He has a bunch for old wrestling buddies from the area. Anyways when do you think Mr. Kennedy would have used his MITB chance if it wasn't for the steroid suspeion he had to deal with? Yeah hornswaggle fell into a great position and he can drink alot for a small guy. I love how you threw a MITB question out in the middle paragraph of your Hornswoggle thread. It makes the drinking with Hornswoggle story very believable So you're saying he's not lying in a hospital bed after his beating from JBL? Did he look any worse for wear?

I thought with the thread title this was going to be about how flabby he still looked considering he lost the hundred pounds.
My bad.
Yeah..if Lilian intros his match there's no telling how much he'll weigh or where he'll be from or even who he'll be. LOL. Sometimes I wonder who she must have slept with to get her job and keep it despite screwing up regularly

WWE TV?

I think it would. They certainly have enough material for it, although I presume they are making quite a bit from WWE 24/7, so there's no need to change for now. I'm not suggesting getting rid of WWE 24/7. Think of this as complimenting it. Complimenting it by giving away the same stuff they're charging $whatever a month for? Chances are the people that subscribe to WWE 24/7 would end their subscription if there was a free alternative on tv. WWE wouldn't like that.
