Orton was supposed to win the Triple Threat match. Both he and Batista have given interviews and said as much.

Based on the description of NXT, I have this bad feeling that only 1 guy is getting called up. So then IDK each season only gets 1 new guy but the Pros change each season so the 7 who don't get called up can try and do better with a different mentor. Realistically, it's more likely it's like Tough Enough: Only one "guaranteed" call-up, with more if they feel like it. It's not like WWE looked at Miz or Nowinski and said "Nope, sorry, only one guy gets a contract. Bye." THIS! I really don't think we're going to be seeing the same rookies season after season minus the winner. It will be new Pro's and new Rookies. And for the person that was asking about TNA guys like Sonjay Dutt I think it's likely possible you would see TNA guys on NXT. If Danielson is eligible TNA guys would be too. It's not like many TNA guys have wrestled in front of the same size crowds that WWE guys have.

I seriously doubt it and unless you hear Shawn Michaels or someone credible from WWE management or creative mention that this was their plan, then we will never know. 2 out of the 3 people that were supposed to be in that match say that Orton was supposed to win the belt in the Triple Threat match. www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/wrestling/article436553.ece

Or WWE could amend their trademark to "Monday Night Raw", which should avoid the confusion in the courts eyes when it comes to selling hats, shirts and John Cena wristbands.

RIP A few more details from the Tampa Tribune... www2.tbo.com/content/2009/mar/14/140711/former-wrestling-champ-found-dead-tampa/Andrew "Test" Martin, a former world champion wrestler, was found dead in his Harbour Place apartment last night, according to Tampa Police.
Police say at this time there is no indication of foul play.
According to a media release:
At about 8 p.m., police responded to the Post Harbour Apartments, 725 Harbour Place Drive, to check on Martin. A neighbor reported that she could see into his apartment through a window and that Martin appeared motionless for several hours.

They need to stress the "Sons of Hall of Famers" thing more, that way people won't be asking why every single 2nd/3rd gen person in WWE isn't in the group. It'd also help it feel more elite. I wonder if they'll induct someone like The Anvil, Carlos Colon, Million Dollar Man or the British Bulldog just so they can add their kid to Legacy..?

is it just young second and third gen stars? Nope. I don't remember who said it (Orton I'd assume...explaining the punt of DiBiase) but on an episode of RAW they mentioned the group is all offspring of WWE Hall of Famers, not just 2nd or 3rd generation superstars. Chavo Classic is not in the WWE Hall of Fame. It makes me wonder why they played up who else could join in an article on WWE.com teasing Natalya or the Colons could join Legacy.

Wasn't the spoof created by someone here at Wrestlecrap? I remember seeing WWE's Victoria write about it on myspace and giving it props, but now Foley too? Word gets around.

I expect to see, if not a feud, then at least some interaction where they play on the fact that they are brothers. I know a lot of you will doubt that they can put over Dustin Rhodes as just himself but it could work. I mean they got freaking Hornswoggle over for crying out loud. Does it surprise you that Hornswoggle got over? WWE is marketed very strongly to children and his gimmick is for the kiddies. He's not over with the older crowd (smarks) IMO.

If the WWE Title can be considered a World Title even though it doesn't have "World Heavyweight" in it, then so can the ECW Title. I believe the logic behind the WWE Title and World Title being equal is WWE knows that there are many people who would not be able to distinguish between the two if they were both called the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. So they split that up and we have the WWE Heavyweight Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship.

2. When did it become legal for him to do it again? He's allowed to use it in matches where ANYTHING GOES like a steel cage match, a triple threat match, a street fight, etc. where there are no disqualifications.

On their recent radio show they did tease that they'd be getting tickets, although I'm sure WWE's security wouldn't think twice about sending them packing. When they arrived at the arena I could see WWE Security telling them "Sorry, you'll have to turn those JCW t-shirts inside out. oh...and let's see those signs you have."

Yes, but bringing up the blow off match, what could it possibly be? Depending on how long it goes -- Lethal Lockdown perhaps. Don't forget to add Mick Foley as special guest referee so he can turn heel giving the Mafia the win as the 'shocking' ending to the PPV.

I'm sure he was released but they never made it official like they do with every other superstar. Or at least that's what wikipedia says... During a live Raw event in August of 2007 in Fayetteville, NC, Jeter returned under the name of "Johnny Jeter". During the October 17, 2007 house show in Manchester, England, Jeter debuted for the ECW brand under the ring name "Jayden Jeter". After a brief stint at ECW live events, Jeter went on a lengthy leave of absence, not appearing at WWE nor developmental shows. He is believed to have been released before Wrestlemania XXIV, although WWE has never made it official.

Seriously, everyone KNOWS by now that the damn votes don't matter anyway Why don't the votes matter? How are they going to have matches if there are no votes to pick the stipulation? If you're suggesting they aren't using what the fans are actually voting for I have yet to see any wrestling news site or any WWE employee say it's rigged. Only speculation from wrestling fans like yourself.

I don't think it would be wise for them to start talking about Foley, seeing as he's with their competition.
That's the way it was handled when WCW was around for the wrestlers to jump ship to.

I think he wants a sub-forum for videos only Basically. As I said that doesn't make it easy for people to find the video threads. And some people...like myself...are suckers for watching the video threads on Wrestlecrap. The videos that get posted (not matches, wrestlecrap related stuff) here are phenomenal. From the comments to the choices of videos themselves. But if there's a rule against adding new sub-forums yadda, yadda, yadda for whatever reason, so be it.
