I think they've turned the crossface into the DDT of the 21st century. Remember way back when Jake The Snake was able to finish off his opponents with his DDT? And then it became just one move out of many in most wrestlers bag of tricks and it usually didn't get the job done. Dean Malenko invented the variation of the move if wikipedia is correct and Hardcore Holly...I mean Benoit just popularized it.

Why are people saying this sounds like an Eliniation Chamber ripoff... Cornette barely even described what the match was! Literally all we know is that it is some sort of cage, and apparently more sadistic than a normal cage. It could end up being more like Hell in a Cell or something. Isn't Elevation X their HIAC ripoff? They wouldn't have two different matches ripping off one WWE match, would they?

He went from being on tv to never being seen on tv again. Also Michael Cole held the exact same role and managed to still do Smackdown. That sounds like a demotion to me.

The satellite system is set up much differently now. In the past when people were able to view it before it aired, the giant backyard dishes moved to different satellites to pick up wild feeds.
I used to have a dish at my cottage and would watch the NBC late night talk shows before they aired with no commercials.

I didn't realize they were ripping on Coach the whole show. I was tuning in and out because of playoff hockey.
If that's the case then I guess WWE is trying to send some kind of message. Otherwise it really makes no sense for them to have a heel bury the heel announcer, who is just doing his job. If anything it would just give fans a reason not to watch Smackdown (worst wrestling PBP combo ever).
Why is this a spoiler? Didn't Smackdown air last night?

It sounds like he really needs drug rehab. I wonder if he'll take WWE up on their offer?

He's wrestled dark matches the past few weeks as well. I'd expect him to show up on TV pretty soon. I wonder what they'll call him. Will they go with his real name? Or K-Kwik, or K-Krush? KWIK Ron Killings is what I've read he'll be going by.

I read somewhere before Stone Cold Sharkboy debuted that Savage liked it.

I would have liked to see it, if Tomko hadn't joined the Angle Alliance. If he had remained his own man, who knows how far he could have gone...
Kurt probably noticed how over he was getting and told TNA to add him to his stable, so he wouldn't get too popular.

When they came back from commercial break they were saying Orlando was the centre of the wrestling universe or something of the like and then they showed someone who looked remarkably like Robbie of WWE's Highlanders.
To be honest even though they go through the same spiel in their promos detailing who is who, I still don't know.
I'd look in the iMPACT thread, but I figured this might be deserving of it's own thread.
I found it odd the camera would search him outm if it was, considering Jarrett doesn't want TNA talent to go to the HOF ceremony on Saturday.
Is he going to get fired for being shown on TNA television?

Cary Ichter I think his lawyer's name is.
I bet TNA will respond to the drug use claims by conveiniently having their first test results handy. And gee...even Dixie did a test.

So people who don't visit their site can see what?
Is there an invisible link somewhere in that post?

How long has Morgan been with TNA? I heard they were going to build him as a monster when he first signed on but they been wasting him since day one. I wanted to say this. Is there a reason why he hasn't wrestled ONCE since being with the company? He knows how to wrestle, talk on the mic (see his time as The Blueprint in OVW) and the guy's freakin huge. Sounds like a winning blueprint to me.

I agree with Heyman.
I've seen glimpses of things in TNA that would help them break out from the WWE's shadow (Global iMPACT of course), but just when you think it's about to happen...they unleash Stone Cold Sharkboy on the masses.

PWInsider is reporting that Scott Steiner's freak at Against All Odds was Trenesha Biggers, a former WWE developmental talent from the 2005 Diva Search. She's wrestled under the names Naomi Banks, Panthew Claw and Barbie Black and was trained by Marty Jannetty in OVW. Here's her myspace.

yeah you gotta think the crowds pretty tired after 6 hours of Angle I thought they taped iMPACT on back to back days now, as opposed to back to back on the same day.

Pros: AJ Styles Tomko Kurt Angle Karen Angle Christian Cage Joe James Storm Robert Roode Jeremy Borash Awesome Kong ODB Gail Kim Roxxi Miss Jackie Team 3D Machine Guns Black Machismo Scott Steiner Matt Morgan Jim Cornette Kevin Nash Booker T You're right....they're definitely all pro wrestlers. I haven't seen Matt Morgan wrestle in such a long time I forgot that was his chosen profession.

I've been thinking Angle is the new choice for the number one guy in TNA instead of part-owner Jeff (I'm a main eventer dammit) Jarrett. If this is the case, I like it better than seeing Jarrett always around the gold because WWE built up Angle well enough as one of the best wrestlers around.
Is he the new Hogan? No. He's the new Jarrett

I dunno what happened to the Hustle. I did the same thing and went to the site to see if he'd released his first episode yet and no Heyman anywhere.
