I had a dream where I was falling down this huge black hole and The Big Show caught me on this scaffold. I then proceeded to push him off the scaffold, sending him to his death.
Later on, I was back at home and my doorbell rang. I answered the door and there he was. It was very Halloween Havoc '95-esque.

When hit from out of nowhere, nothing beats the RKO, Sweet Chin Music and Codebreaker.
I also mark for the Go To Sleep.

He was given every wrestler's dream send-off. I don't mind the occasional Flair appearance but I'd really like him to stay out of the ring.

Blatantly a misleading comment there by JR, heel vs heel at WrestleMania is just wrong. Well, apart from Goldberg vs Lesnar. Goldberg wasn't a heel. The fans turned on him because they knew he and Lesnar were both leaving. Heel v. Heel could work with the right guys, IMO. JBL can pull it off on the mic. Kozlov...not so much.

it'll be Austin. he will be announced next week. the date? 3/16 If they do that, connecting with the date and everything, that'd be awesome. I've said this in other threads but, Lawler-Jericho wouldn't be bad in terms of the match but it's a terrible payoff for such an epic story.

Another rumor is Jesse Ventura thought it would look bad if he awarded a heel a title. So they chose to go the route of putting Mankind over and having Triple H attack Austin post match.
The only reason the whole Austin didn't wanna put Hunter over thing doesn't make sense to me is just two months later, he put Triple H over at No Mercy.

To start this thing off with someone as good as Eddie may have been a mistake. Finding a guy more skilled in the workrate category would be like starting the Who Would You Rather Snork thing with Stacy Keibler or Mickie James. This. It's gonna be hard for ANYBODY to beat Eddie in this.

It's just a matter of time until TBK gets released for one too many failed marijuana tests and Ezekiel gets a push on his own.

Fans counting HBK's stomps before Sweet Chin Music seriously annoys the hell out of me.
It's pointless.

I hate Hulk Hogan but I actually agree. I disagree with XX just because Taker's feud with Kane at that show was the reason why he came back as the Deadman.

I found the DVD a few weeks ago, used. Probably one of the greatest feelings I've ever had.
WM 19 was better in terms of in ring action but 17 was a better show all around and is the greatest Mania and PPV of all time, IMO.

Bold prediction but I don't buy it.
My guess is R-Truth is on the poster to appeal to the African American demographic. After all, they were pushing him to be the african american star of the WWE. The poster means nothing as far as the show is booked goes.
Also, Rey might be in some sort of Raw v. Smackdown (Batista v. Umaga last year) match against Kozlov or something so he's no shoo-in for MITB either.

The only Hogan match I'm willing to watch at this point is a shoot fight with Savage.
That's the end of that.

It's not so much that I'm against Lawler versus Jericho. It's more that I don't think Lawler is a big enough mainstream "legend" to get the story over. Jericho has gotten in the faces of Flair, Piper, Steamboat and Snuka...and the big payoff is Jerry Lawler? The guy who wrestles five times a year (if that) on Raw? In the ring, I think it would be fine at Mania. I just don't think it's a big enough payoff for such a good story.

Match of the night. Maybe match of the year. But, they won't waste the end of the streak on a 40 year old man who might retire in a year. Of course, Undertaker will win. But this match isn't about who wins for the fans. It's about the fact that we finally get to see this match at Wrestlemania. I, for one, could not be more excited.
