I couldn't be more on board with this! I thought the first one was good, but the second one made me laugh harder than I've laughed at a movie in years.
So long as they keep the same people on-screen and behind the scenes, I'm in.

Wow, I don't believe I've ever seen Schefter even a little angry. That's not to say I blame him, because with all of the backtracking and multiple stories out there he and other reporters have been made to look like idiots as the article says, but it's definitely surprising and telling of how f***ed up this entire situation is.

Absolutely sickening behavior from Rice. You're a f***ing 220 pound running back and she's, what, all of 100-110 pounds? The Ravens need to do something to acknowledge this, because unlike Ray Lewis we have proof here that this guy did something.
I'm in favor of banning him from the league, but guys have done way worse and gotten a slap on the wrist so you know that won't happen.

Broncos didn't look at strong as I would've liked in the 2nd half, but damn it we got the win and that's all that matters. I was incredibly impressed with Roby's performance on a damn good wideout in Wayne; if he keeps it up we might not miss Champ as much as I thought we would.

Tom Brady. Look, obviously Tom Brady is a very good looking man and I wouldn't mind looking like him, but I guess I'm just not seeing what makes him drop dead gorgeous. I feel the same way about Brad Pitt; very good looking, but I don't fully "get" it. Now Jason Momoa? That motherf***er is f***ing sexy; if I could look like him for a day I'd be ecstatic.

With the Seahawks setting the bar and tone in the NFC with an absolute rout of the Packers, I'm really hoping that the Broncos do the same against the Colts.
I think it's safe enough to say that the Seahawks and Broncos are still the general consensus best in their divisions, so I'm hoping that the Broncos come out and make it known that they're the best in the AFC.

It's like Green Bay forgot how to football or something. This is absolutely pitiful.

how many times am I going to hear "best defense in the league" tonight? 3,500 times in the first quarter, guaranteed.

We all should be dropping ridiculously harsh jokes at Rivers' expense in this thread. Its what she would have wanted. That's a great point; I saw one on reddit that made me laugh, "She died doing what she loved, having surgery performed on her"

It's never good when somebody goes under the knife and doesn't come back to tell the story. I know most surgeries go off without a hitch, but man, those exceptions are f***ing terrifying.
I've never had strong feelings for her one way or another, but I will say RIP regardless.

Interesting that you not only have the Chargers second place, but you have them above a sub-.500 Chiefs.
How come you have the Chiefs falling off so bad?

Denver's facing the Colts, Chiefs, Cardinals and traveling to Seattle without Welker? Oh shit that's really bad for them. Against Kansas City they'll win, the Colts game could go either way (don't know what Colts team will show up), but facing Seattle and Arizona's secondaries without Welker, just spells trouble. Yeah they've got Peyton, but with a not 100% receiving corp against Seattle and Arizona that's not good for Denver. I think we'll be okay. Welker is no doubt going to be missed, but with Sanders, Latimer and Caldwell as potential depth I think we'll do well enough to get by.

Oh, well, I suppose. This'll give Sanders some time to shine in the slot (I'm guessing we'll put the 5'11 Sanders there instead of the 6'3 Latimer) and we'll get to see what Latimer can do with some extra time.

Speaking of the Boys, Rapoport is saying on Twitter that the Cowboys are pretty much guaranteed to sign Sam to the practice squad. He says the FO spent today calling players to gauge the reaction on signing Sam.
EDIT - He just tweeted out and said Sam is flying to Dallas tonight. If he passes the physical, he'll be on their practice squad.

I'd be very content with a Denver-New Orleans Super Bowl, and I don't think it's too outside the realm of possibility.
If the pre-season is any indication (I know, I know, but here me out), this defense has a new mindset. For YEARS, dating back to when I started watching in '05, Denver's defense has played weak and timid. Last year they ran into a squad that played with a nasty, tough mindset; Seattle's defense pops you in the mouth and makes you say "sorry", and I think some of that has rubbed off on Denver. From what I've seen this past month, Denver's D is FINALLY playing with an edge, and if that transfers into the regular season we'll be a force to be reckoned with again.
As for my predictions...
AFC North: Cincinnati: The old guard is still there in Pittsburgh and Baltimore, but I think Cincinnati wins the North with ease this year.
AFC East: New England: Until Brady retires the East will forever remain the Pats' conference. I think the Bills will be a close second this year.
AFC South: Indianapolis: This is going to be a fun conference to watch; Houston's defense looks to be rejuvenated with the addition of Clowney, and the Jags look like they're finally putting pieces in place to bring some credibility back to their franchise. I think Indy takes it because they're the best team in the South right now, but I don't think they win it easily.
AFC West: Denver: Kansas City will be second, but this is Denver's division right now. San Diego missed their chance and their windows closing, and Oakland's Oakland.
_________________________________________________
NFC North: Green Bay: If Aaron Rodgers doesn't go down, this is easily Green Bay's division. If Rodgers goes down, I think any of the other three teams can take it.
NFC East: Eagles, I Guess: Still the worst division in football. Eagles take it because they're a better package, I suppose; and they have Shady. That helps.
NFC South: New Orleans: I expect this one to be close between New Orleans and Carolina, but I do think New Orleans edges them out and wins the division. With Tampa Bay bringing in Lovie Smith, it looks like both the AFC and NFC South should be fun to watch this year.
NFC West: San Francisco: I know I'm in the minority here, but I just have a gut feeling that Seattle is going to fall off something fierce this year. No, nothing like 4-12, but I think with the young guys getting big contracts they won't be as "magical" as they were this year. If San Fran can fix their offensive woes that were present in the pre-season, San Fran takes the West this year.

I really hope he doesn't take the Tebow route and not consider other options in hopes an NFL team will sign him. f***er's talented, but if it's not working down here hopefully he at least will consider the CFL. It'd suck to see him waste away his prime doing nothing on-field. Tebow could still be in the NFL right now if he'd went for fullback. For sure; that's what I was getting at. If he were to "lower his standards", he could still be playing in the NFL. Of course, who am I to tell somebody to change their dream? He wants to play quarterback in the NFL and he'll try his damndest.

The Montreal Alouettes own free agent DE Michael Sam's CFL rights. The Alouettes have contacted Sam about taking his talents north of the border. To this point, Sam isn't interested in playing in the CFL. He remains committed to finding a job either on an NFL 53-man roster or practice squad. I really hope he doesn't take the Tebow route and not consider other options in hopes an NFL team will sign him. f***er's talented, but if it's not working down here hopefully he at least will consider the CFL.
