I've never gotten it myself, but I loved watching Powerpuff Girls as a kid so I can't talk smack to any MLP fans. Man, I remember going out of my way to hide my love of Powerpuff Girls when I was younger. My parents didn't know, and if my friends found out I was really scared what they would've called me! Can you tell I wasn't a particularly secure child?

Oh, yeah, I think Sam will have a job even if he gets cut by the Rams. Dude's got a hell of a work ethic and plays well, so he'll suit up for somebody.

As others have said, based off things she's said in the past she's absolutely fair game and she probably loves the jokes being made about her now. She knows she's a notorious figure and I doubt she thinks people would react in any other way.

Also known as "reason #83 why I'm in love with Spotify".
I came across a song a while back on a Spotify playlist by a band named Astra. It was really proggy (a genre I don't particularly enjoy) so I didn't think too much of it.
Tonight, though, I got the urge to listen to the song again, and in doing so I found out they released a new record this year.
I'm in love. For real.
I don't know why, but this record is really blowing my mind and I needed to share it with somebody. It's very rare that Prog Rock or Metal gets my attention, but my God this one has my full attention right now, and if you dig those genres, and even if you don't, give one of those songs a listen.
I LOVE IT!

You know what, as terrible as Dennis is (the leader at the time I write this comment), I'm going to say Dee. The first thing that comes to mind is her getting The Waitress back into alcohol just so she could play Sex & The City. That's not the only time, but overall I'd have to say that Dee is the worst.

Wes Welker isn't considering retirement after his latest concussion. While I just a moment ago advocated for the suspension of a player due to a dirty hit, I applaud Wes Welker's choice, because it is his choice. Everyone else can shout from their soap box about how Welker should retire, but as long as he passes the concussion test, the only person who should be making that decision is Wes Welker. If he feels like he can still suit up and play every Sunday, then who the hell is anyone else to tell him otherwise? It's his career and it's his life. I'm sure he's well aware of the long-term repercussions associated with the sport. He doesn't need any talking head advocating from their fainting couch about what he should do with his life. Absolutely; it's his choice and his choice only, but a lot of people, including myself, are just worried about what the dude's going to look like post-football. I heard somewhere that he's had upwards of 30 concussions in his entire life, so while it may come across as people thinking they know what's best for Welker, it comes from a place of concern.

Creed is amazing and reminds me more of my childhood than any other band. Like slickness said, Creed got and gets way more flak than they deserve.

Is there anyone out there that the Rams could conceivably get via trade? They have jack all after Bradford. Maybe Washington offers Cousins? Rapoport said Sanchez might make sense for both teams.

Just clicked over to the game, and I've got to say that I love FOX's new visual presentation. I still much prefer the way games look on CBS, but there was always something I didn't like about the way FOX's broadcast looked; this is much better.

And it was hilarious. I NEVER thought I'd see Peyton Manning get in somebody else's grill and tell him "f*** you". I loved it. So I guess to you, the flag was worth it and yes, I think Manning did deserve the flag. He absolutely did, and it was absolutely worth it, as well.

I feel incredibly bad for Rams fans and for Bradford; life just won't give the dude a break. That sucks because he can be really good, but he's been forced into the "what if?" category because he just can't catch a break.

I'm very much so looking forward to this year's show, namely to see Ariana perform "Break Free" and Nicki to perform "Anaconda". I am VERY much looking forward to the latter.

Listening to it now, and based off the way Corey's singing I can definitely hear Stone Sour influence in there; it's Stone Sour verses with a Slipknot chorus.
I couldn't care less as I love melodic Slipknot, but I can see where people might get that.

Welker with another concussion. I hope he retires. I love the guy and he's an absolute beast, but there comes a point where you have to value your brain over the game. We'll be fine on the field with the drafting of Latimer, so I hope this is the end for Welker.

I have a few, in order from "least" important to most important. Learning how to play guitar: I had always wanted to know how to play guitar, but I always assumed that because I didn't have any musical ability I'd never be able to learn. One day I decided to just give it a try and to my surprise, musical ability can be learned! If you want to learn a musical instrument but you don't come from a musical family, JUST DO IT! YOU CAN DO IT! Taking the long, hard road to working on my confidence: I am a firm believer that confidence is the most important trait a human being can possess if he or she is to get through life successfully (however one may define that, because it does vary), and had I not begun to work on my confidence a couple years ago I don't know what I'd be doing right now. Just like musical ability, confidence CAN be learned, and if this sad sack of shit can do it you best believe you can. And, the most important... Losing weight: This is something I've tried in years past, but for one reason or another (be it laziness or a tie-in with self-confidence) I always fell off the wagon right quick. However, since January I've been working very hard to lose weight, and here I sit 33 pounds down with no desire to go back to my eating habits of old. It's changed my life for the better big time and I can't believe I didn't do it years ago.

I don't get them. Can someone explain them to me? All I know is that Fatty Magoo is the mom and one of the kids is a goth guy, and the patriarch is a hamster? Holy shit! That is Fatty Magoo! I've seen those commercials dozens of times and never would've gotten that. All I know about these comments is the goth kid is funny and I want whoever does the hamster's voice to narrate a day of my life.

This is one band I've never gotten all the fuss over. They just sound like every other generic post-grunge band from the early/mid 2000s to me. Admittedly, that is a genre I've always hated, so that might have something to do with it, but yeah. Regardless, that's cool news for fans of the band, and I'm happy for them. Valid point; they don't sound super unique within their genre. However, one thing that, in my eyes, makes them stand head and shoulders above the rest is the catchiness of their songs. It's very rare you come across a Breaking Benjamin song that isn't catchy as all hell, and they're a band where I can listen to an album front to back and not get bored or want to change the song; I can't even say that for KISS. So, yeah, that's the main reason I like them so much. Incredibly well crafted songs that always bring with them a huge hook that keeps you coming back. They're not particularly unique, necessarily, but there's something about them that's just different.

www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152586273718168They just posted this little teaser video on their Facebook; I can't embed it, though. I've been a massive, massive fan of BB since my cousin showed me them way back in '02, so I couldn't possibly be more stoked that we're FINALLY getting new stuff from them! WHAT A STORY TO WAKE UP TO!!

Somebody on reddit proposed a scenario I agree with.
No way in hell does this match go through. Cena's out cutting a promo pre-PPV and Lesnar comes out and injures him, preventing the match. That'll keep Cena/Lesnar in the vault for a few months to be revisited later while others can take their shot at Lesnar now.
