He's not over, his music and his hair and his beard and mic skills and his catchphrase and his finishers and his WWE title-holdingness are over. Thats like Miz saying " Im the Miz....and IIIIIIIIIIIM... a really humble guy who just happens to have a personality, look, voice, and skill set that are AWWWWWWWEEEESSSSSOOOOOMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEE". Not that any of that mess is true.

lmao no not EvaD but thanks for the reply. This guy was probably never on Nitro or anything more than a few episodes of worldwide but he had the Hogan hairline with yellow tights et all, I THINK I remember Jesse Ventura doing commentary during a match of his ....and I THINK this was before Hogan came to WCW ....all I know is that it really happened and ONE DAY ill find his name. I think you may be recalling Allan Funk before he adopted the Kwee Wee gimmick. I'm 90% sure he wore yellow and had long hair, and Wikipedia says he portrayed a character called "The Funkster" after the purchase of WCW. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allan_FunkNo sir, but thanks. This guy was old. Ill try to look him up, and if I find anything ill share.

I remember her sitting in on commentary with a giant platter of roast beef sandwiches. hahahahahahaha only Russo. I had a hectic schedule at the time and missed a lot of the waning days of WCW and all the dirt sheets during that time frame. I was sick one Monday and called off my 3rd shift job, tuned into Nitro and WHAMMO there was Vince. So crazy to be a mark like that lol

I was going to post some stupid nonsense about fake Razor and fake Diesel with fake Sting and ...fake anyone else ...BUT it made me remember some random WCW jobber from back in the day whos name I cant recall. The guy was on worldwide & -I think- pro....maybe...a few times and he looked a LOT like Hogan. This was before Hogan was in WCW, I think. Help? You may be thinking of Evad (or evaD or whatever) Sullivan. I don't remember much of him other than he had a bunny, was dyslexic (or mentally challenged, don't remember which) and he was a huge Hogan fan. Which led to him dressing up like Hogan for his matches and doing the mannerisms too, I think. He also may have been attacked once or twice by Kevin Sullivan. Memory is a bit fuzzy. lmao no not EvaD but thanks for the reply. Im not sure how this happened, but some WCW nostalgia just pointed out that Bertha Faye was in WCW... as a Nitro Girl...named "Beef". Okay then. pictured: the only image I could find of her in WCW Not Earth shattering news by any means, buuuut ive been known to take an occasional break and this makes me wonder what else I may have missed during some time away. That said, ITT we discuss and post proof (or as close to it as possible) that 'this person' was in 'that promotion' doing 'this gimmick'. Of course the less impactful the run the better.

My 1st house show was in Cincy a few weeks before that PPV, Shawn was advertised but did not appear... Savio took his place on the card.
Savios group had, as previously mentioned, been helping DX a bit plus he had a ton of experience working with Austin which made it work kayfabe. I think they hadnt entirely given up on him at that point and it was a good spot to pur him in without hurting anyone elses feuds leading into 'mania.
SAVIO VEGA facts:
*1st to defeat Steve Austin in the WWF *1st to defeat The Rockin the WWF *1st to be hit with an official Stone Cold Stunner * In the WWF he defeated future world chamions Austin, Rock, HHH, Jeff Jarrett, JBL, & Yokozuna.

From @fcwwrestling: "#FCW n Starke 2nite. Gainesville Area this is your lst chance to see #Antonio Cesaro, #Damian Sandow, #Dean Ambrose b4 they head to #WWE." Considering that account usually just plugs upcoming shows, I would doubt it's a work! Excellent info. TYVM.
