With both of them leaving afterwards, and not knowing that Brock would eventually return, why was Goldberg booked to win?
Obviously Austin stunning both is the lasting impression of this mess, but the WCW creation going over has always struck me as odd.

At this point im pretty sure that- unless they float a boat load of money at Lesnar- the WrestleMania main event is going to be worse than Lesnar v Goldberg.

Post DX XPac comment applies for me as well.
Irks me that he enters through the crowd, then exits up the ramp and through the stage. Reminds me of this dude in school who would change in a lobby before gym class, then come to the locker room and put clothes on over his gym shorts....

In what way is Ambrose an Austin knockff? If you wanna see a Austin knock-off, Look at that f***boy Mr. Anderson. He has admitted that Stone Cold is the only wrestling he ever saw before getting into it and wanted to emulate him. So of course, he completely f***** up trying to be like Austin just like he f***** up everything else he's ever done in his career. Wait. What?

Roman Reigns made me realize that no matter how much blood, sweat, and tears you sacrifice, no matter how much suffering you endure to perfect your craft, no matter that you are the absolute best in the world at your chosen profession...you will still get passed over for some dipshit with decent hair if he has connections.

It has recently dawned on me that ... and this is a radical thought, Im aware... the folks at World Wrestling Entertainment focus more on marketability and size than actual athletic/wrestling ability and charisma. With this insider information in mind, my assumption is a midcard title IF the crowd really gets behind him.

On paper it looks like two random guys paired against each other because creative couldn't find anything that made sense, so in other words...its very possible.

Bryan #1, Wyatt #2... and they go at each other all through the match. Both last until the late stages of the match (last 10 minutes or so)somewhere around #27, Wyatt eliminates Bryan and then himself is quickly eliminated by Harper/Rowan. To me, this builds on the DB/Wyatt ongoing story and adds another layer to that for whenever they return to those two feuding. The crowds reaction to DB being eliminated can be seen as heat on Wyatt in that spot, and then -hopefully- theres a positive reaction for Harper/Rowan eliminating Bray.
Send out a heel at #28. A legit heel, someone like Rusev. Noone legit hates the guy, and the chorus of boos would probably look solid on him.
At #29 send out Ziggler to get the crowd back a bit, and be the guy people rally around.
At #30 have The Rock be a legit entrant, not just doing a run in. For me part of the issue is the storytelling. Weve had Reigns as essentially a "me against the world" character for awhile now and all of a sudden here comes his big cousin to save him? Silly. Anyway, Rock pops the crowd at 30. Rusev cleans house of all the faces except Rock, Reigns, and Ambrose and it makes the 3 faces with Rusev, Show, and Kane as final 6. Ambrose goes Wile E. Coyote kamikaze to take out Show/Kane but then gets tossed by Rusev and pounded by Kane/Show on the outside, Rock quickly tosses Rusev, then as soon as he turns around...superman punch and Reigns winsAll of this rrrrreally quickly. Rock lays there with a shocked expression, Reigns cocks his fist and points at the sign, fade to black and get the hell out of dodge. Save all this blood is thicker crap for later.
In my head all of this happens RRREALLY quickly so there isn't a long span for hate to build between DBs elimination and Reigns winning. They aren't obviously using Rock to get Roman love at that point either. Did Roman turn heel? How will Rock react? Etc etc etc. Next Raw, or whatever, have Rock address it and be pissed about it. Roman comes out, small heel tease by being silent/knocking the mic out of his hand/stone facing Rocks goofy stuff/etc. Finally Roman takes a mic, says Rock has to understand its one vs all in that environment and he had to do it because he wants to get to where hes going by doing it his way and not relying on his family name. Rock understands that, talks a bit about the Blue Chipper gimmick, shakes Romans hand then hugs him and drops the blood is thicker schtick and raises Romans hand as the show ends.
Positives: 1) Bryan v Wyatt bloodfeud rekindled for a later date. 2) Rowan/Harper gets a measure of revenge on Wyatt and possibly a rub from the crowd. 3) Ambrose v The Authority sparks. 4) Rusev looks strong and gets a Rock rub. 5) Reigns reestablishes an aura of cool with a me vs the world mentality instead of whats obviously happening.

To be fair, had anyone said that Mean Mark Callous, The Diamond Stud, and OZ would be WWE HOF stars -or even decent top card draws- id have laughed in their face.
