Oh, I get it.
See, Chris Masters was released by the WWE, and TNA have hired a lot of former WWE superstars.
That's hilarious. Truly hilarious.

And Kishi is gone. He has ceased to be. He is no more. He is an ex-TNA wrestler.

Speaking of which, is anyone excited about Diavari vs. Jay Lethal for the X Division title? Oh, wait. That isn't a match on the card. Because TNA haven't hired Diavari.

I just said TNA have hired a lot of WWE superstars. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gotten the joke. Look, can I break it down? Test. Sucked in the ring, negative attitude backstage, never was a big-timer. Released. Rikishi. Sucked in the ring, negative attitude backstage, never was a big-timer. Released. Chris Masters. Sucks in the ring, is bound to meet with hostility backstage, never was a big-timer. Now, either TNA aren't that stupid, or they ARE that stupid and we'll see Masters for all of two weeks. Woop-de-doo. So, sorry, but I'm not going to take this sort of thing as something that's most assuredly happening, and I still think the joke is overused. That's just my honest opinion.

The joke is sad because it's so true. Look at them all: Rhyno, Christian, Angle, Rikishi, Heart Throbs, VKM, Dudleyz + Spike, Tomko.... I know I'm probably missing more, too.

I'm pretty sure Rikishi was a big-timer, as he was one of the most over faces on Raw at one point (before "I did it for the Rock"). His problem was that he still wanted to get paid like he did during the height of his career, which was a deal-killer for TNA.
