I hope Cena recovers quickly as he continues to give it his all when it counts, but I'm angered at the nonsensical decision to put Rey in his place in the Scramble.

I just hope he recovers fully, since a lot of guys with neck problems carry them around for years.

This is different from Angle's and Edge's injuries, because they had broken bones, and the treatment for that is fusing vertebrae. If he's going to see a surgeon, then he's getting cut open. They'll do a disc replacement, and he should be back to normal within a few months. But if his shoulder injury was any indication, he's going to push himself, and set himself up for future neck problems.

This sucks, but i really hope that he gets some proper rest and doesn't rush back. As stated, Raw doesnt absolutely need him right now, and he is too valuable to WWE for them to keep rushing him back and turning him into another Austin (injury wise).
I liked how they put the heat on Batista for doing this though. Hopefully this is leading to us finally getting a heel turn from Big Dave.
Ah well, get well soon, JC.

I personally think Jericho should have been in there. Somehow wins the title and Michaels costs him it setting up a match at the next PPV. I'm still fine with Michaels/Jericho now, but I can't help but think they're rushing it and really should save the big one for Survivor Series. Just my view, though.

This is a serious setback after the torn pectoral muscle.
Cena really impressed me with his non-stop schedule the last few years, and he was for all intents and purposeshealthy through it all.
Now I'm wondering if this is a sign that he's pushed himself too hard.
Get better, JC.

Yikes! Hope he makes a really speedy recovery. Nobody wants that.
By the way, I hope all of those people who cheered Cena's injury were happy that he got a serious injury and could possibly be worst. That was the lowpoint of last night's RAW.

That was the lowpoint of last night's RAW. Yeah i definitely agree to that. Plus over the last year Cena has actually gotten alot better and has actually impressed me. It sucks people have to act like idiots and cheer a mans misery when he is desperately trying to get better to entertain them.

Just my view, though. i'm not trying to be a smartass but i'd think that would be the nonsensical option. Jericho is in a completely different feud with Shawn Michaels that is unrelated to the WWE title. whereas Rey Mysterio is in a feud with one of the Scramble participants Kane. there's also the subplot of whether his friendship with Batista will end because of the WHC. don't get me wrong I would've much prefered Jericho too but Rey being in the match makes a lot more sense

Its the ultimate form of disrespect. Sometimes I wonder God forbid if something worse happened to him would they still cheer?
I don't want to make this morbid or turn this into a Cena vs fans debate. But a little sympathy for the devil is all I'm asking.

But a little sympathy for the devil is all I'm asking. I think it's a mixture of some fans not knowing any better (with such blurred lines between Kayfabe and shoot) and some fans being total jackasses, but I'm leaning towards the former in this case.

I'm sure they think the whole Cena injury is fake so thats why they are cheering. Most of the WWE marks still think the blood they bleed is actually fake blood so I could see them thinking the whole thing is fake. Next week on Raw I'm sure they are going to show footage of Cena visiting the doctor, describing his injury, and show surgery footage if he needs surgery.

I hope its not as bad as indicated. The guy, yay him or boo him, is a consumate performer and has more friggin charisma than half the damned active roster.

Damn.
I was enjoying him a bit more lately because he wasn't always winning and was in the title picture less. I hope he isn't rushed back this time and heals up fully. No doubt he's probably the hardest worker in the WWE, which may sadly have been his downfall here.

Man, that really sucks. I was also starting to enjoy him again. It's just a good thing that he wasn't involved in any major storyline. Well, Orton should be back within the next few months and they are some feuds going on that I like right now. So I hope he takes his time healing up instead of rushing back. I'd rather have Cena come back in a year and be healthy than coming back in four months and get hurt even worse.
