Man, that really sucks. I was also starting to enjoy him again. It's just a good thing that he wasn't involved in any major storyline. Well, Orton should be back within the next few months and they are some feuds going on that I like right now. So I hope he takes his time healing up instead of rushing back. I'd rather have Cena come back in a year and be healthy than coming back in four months and get hurt even worse. I just laughed for a good minute at your sig. Nice work!

Wow, this is terrible. Out at least a year and I'm beginning to wonder if he'll ever be 100% again.
Awful news.

God, this is really bad. From PWInsider: Ouch, that's almost worst-case scenario for all involved. Wasn't he filming a new movie as well?

Well, I hate to see anyone get injured seriously like this, and I hope he is okay. That being said, I won't miss him if he ain't on tv for a while.

^Yeah, but he's SuperCena. No injury can stop him.

Well that's pretty messed up. Hope everyone understands that this is the worst case scenario. I remember not too long ago there was a thread talking about how long everyone expected Cena to be in the WWE and on top. The most common answer was that he'd be a lifer, like Flair. Stay in this business forever. Well sadly the undertone of that thread was "Barring of course a catastrophic injury". Well folks, this is that one out of a million tragedy in his life. The John Cena era is over.

But he could still move his arms. Not being able to move your arms because a of neck injury can screw up a hasty return (and knowing how Cena is, I still wouldn't be shocked if he rushed back in, even if he does have the neck surgery).

Totally different. If the end result of this does turn out to be the neck fusion, the chances of a 5 month early comeback are non-existent.

But who is to say that WWE isn't trying to swerve people again with the seriousness of the injury?

I hope its not the worst case scenario. I like Cena, but whats more I wouldn't want any wrestler to loose over a year of (professional) their life to injury.
