. Say what you want about people like Koko B. Ware, Rocky Johnson, Big John Studd, Tony Atlas and the like but they at least had long careers and were over/won many titles in various regions . Would you put The Rock in the HOF? His career was just as short as Warriors career. That is a tough one. I personally wasn't a fan of him, but one can't say he wasn't over his entire time there once he dumped the Rocky Maivia gimmick. The difference between him and Warrior though was he was much more consistent in carrying the company and accomplished more in an even shorter time.

Warrior was a top star for YEARS. Him and Savage should be inducted TOGETHER. Now that would be fitting.

Based on his career, Warrior should be in, but would it really be wise to give him a live mic?
I'd sooner see Scott Hall and Jake the Snake get to make speeches, it'd likely be less embarassing for WWE.

As long as Warrior still has a case pending against Vince in federal court than this story is newz. Also the Arizona connection is really stretching things considering that Warrior was billed from Parts Unknown. The only thing the Arizona location helps with is that Vince won't have to buy a plane ticket for him.

If we're going to pretend that the HOF is based on merit than the Warrior should be a guarantee. If he isnt deserving of the HOF then its going to be a pretty exclusive club of maybe 20 or so

In interviews Shane McMahon had been talking about how they had tons of memorabilia from over the years that he eventually wanted to put into an actual place to visit, but that has seemed to have fallen through (especially with Shane resigning) resulting in "Superstar" Billy Graham selling his hall of fame ring in protest.

I wouldn't support the decision, not just because Jim "The Hellwig" has since become such an embarrassment, but also because of future embarrassing things that nutjob might do, but it's not my HOF or my call to make. Oh please, they inducted Iron Sheik.

It's the WWE Hall of Fame, and Warrior was one of the WWE's biggest stars of all time in terms of fan support. Yeh, for about a minute in his three times with the company. His short stint with the company (the first one, at least) was worth more then a lot of wrestler's entire careers, and I say that as someone who doesn't like the man.

It's one of those things that I'll believe when I see. I think Warrior Warrior with a live mic is a potentially terrifying scenario too.
But if ever it's going to happen it seems like next year. And I do think he deserves to be in there...his time may have been short but it burned very brightly indeed. He had an impact on the business, even if certain people want to pretend he didn't.

If he is inducted I want him to get to the stage by way of a run through the crowd in his wrestling gear. Followed, of course, by violent shaking of the podium.

Live mic situation has seemed to also prevent Bob Backlund from being inducted it seems, especially when he was schilling his run for congress without permission.

I swear as sad as it is I watched the entire HOF on usa last year and just wanted austin to give someone a stunner like he would've in the old days.

That's a speech I wanna hear. And has been said, for his accomplishments, he deserves it as much as anyone.

On the one hand, for his lack of talent and disappointing title run, he was a major star for the company for years, and was second only to Hogan during the first major boom period. On the other hand, the disrespect he has shown to many other wrestlers and some fans make me say he doesn't deserve it. Also, he comes out as a hypocrite for the scathing attacks on Vince then crawling back to him after he Britneyed his wrestling comeback in Spain. Finally, inducting him just to spite Hogan seems petty on Vince's part. And if that's so important to you, just do Randy Savage, who's at least somewhat less checkered.

Warrior is a moron and socially inept.
But he had a larger than life persona that ruled the WWF for years in the late 80s and early 90s. He was so over that Hogan lost to him at Mania and that just never happened during that era. He was a household name and sold tons of tickets and tons of merchandise. Kids with Warrior painted faces and T shirts. Yeah....he deserves to be in.

On one hand he deserves it in terms of how over he was. On the other, it would really suck if he got it and Savage never did.

Live mic situation has seemed to also prevent Bob Backlund from being inducted it seems, especially when he was schilling his run for congress without permission. The lack of Mr Backlund is due to him turning them down several times. I believe his reason is disliking the direction the company has taken. It has nothing to do with them being worried about him giving a speech. Also, for all the attacks on Warrior's character...I personally find his beliefs far less than savory, but to pretend he'd be the only asshole in the group is a huge stretch. Not to stir up a hornet's nest, but Bill Watts was inducted last year, despite his infamous comments in the Torch. As someone once said regarding the Baseball Hall of Fame "If you took out all the drunks, racists, etc, there'd be nobody left in it. "

He deserves to get in. Now IF he gets in, thet god almighty, maybe we WILL see Savage get in If this somehow leads to the Macho Man getting into the Hall Of Fame, then I'm all for Warrior getting in.
