Everybody going on and on about Warrior being a lunatic and not being able to get in front of a live Mic should eatch his shoot interview. the man is calm and collected the whole time, he's not some insane, unbalanced loon. If anything, i suspect his "crazy warrior" persona may be a work. The whole part of him changing his name to Warrior isn't as crazy as it looks on the surface, he did it so he can still be billed as The Warrior without catching a lawsuit from Vince McMahon. As it stands, yes he deserves to be in. How many of you that grew up around the time he was in the WWF actually sat round saying "Oh, he has a crappy workrate!"? The guy was crazy over, end of story. Did he know many moves? No, but more people gave a damn about his 1 gorilla press then all 1,000 of Dean Malenko's holds. Warrior may be the most unique performer, maybe of all time honestly. You can't really say there anyone ever truly like him, unless you count when WCW tried to blatantly rip him off in Renegade as a fun bait and switch. Give the man his due, at one point he was more over then Hulk Hogan, and got a clean pin over him. Not to mention he's the pnly IC Champ I can recall off the top of my head that pinned the World Champ clean. I 100 per cent agree with everything you said. Also I agree that Savage should also go in and perhaps before Warrior. Although I don;t think it matters too much as long as Savage (and Warrior) goes in. Does anyone know for sure that Savage/McMahon legit have some heat with each other or is it just news and specul;ation as Savage is the only big name (except for Warrior) McMahon has not worked with since WCW went out of business?. Maybe it's just choice on McMahon or Savage part not to work with WWE again I mean there is not legit reason why he should is there Also I would like to see another documentary made of Warrior not like the hatchet job done on him a few years ago. A documentary of Savage would be great also and if they both have an interview (like Bret Harts DVD) during the DVD all the better. From what I understand, the heat between Vince and Savage has to do with business. Savage may have screwed Vince out of some advertising revenue when he left, since he was the face of Slim Jim, and I think he continued to make Slim Jim commercials while he was with WCW. Mostly speculation, but it's got nothing to do with Stephanie McMahon. That I know for sure.

There was a thread about it , someone came up with that idea. It was the first I've ever heard of it, but it made a ton of sense. At least it's the most logical of the ideas.

I think you hit the nail on the head. I believe it was a combination of that and jumping off the WWF's sinking ship without even giving Vince the chance to negotiate a new contract. He was, at that time, the WWF's last established star, and he pulled the rug out from under Vince not once, but twice. I think Vince's bad blood with Savage is due to the fact that he might be the only guy to play Vince like Vince plays the wrestlers, and he can't forgive that.
That's why you'll see Warrior in the Hall of Fame before Savage.

Mostly speculation, but it's got nothing to do with Stephanie McMahon. That I know for sure. That was my question/point though know one (outside of WWF and Savage himself) know if there is a legit problem between Vince and Savage or if it is just choice not to work with each other and no big problem. I have heard of the Slim Jim businesses with Savage going to WCW before (as well as the Steph rumors which are just that Internet rumors with no backing behind them what so ever). Vince has worked with Hogan who tried to get him p;ut in prison and others who as he saw it 'stabbed him in the back' (Hall and Nash) by going to WCW at a time when the company was closest to going out of business and a time he really needed them to stick around what Savage has supposedly done with Slim Jim. Vince is a businessman he knows how business works a lot of the time and Macho signin for WCW was no where near as bad as Hogan and they have put it behind them. Truth is unless we here it from Vince or Savage themselves know one knows if there is a big problem or if it is simply choice not to work with each other. Which get;s blown up on the net (just like just about everything else) I would like to see Hogan induct Warrior into the Hall Of Fame. It would be 20 years since there massive champion vs champion match at Mania it would be very fitting if they could get both men to agree. However it is very unlikely with Hogan in TNA at the moment.
