As we all know shawn Michaels had a major chip on his shoulder during the mid 90's...stories of how politically minded he was...and just acting like a unprofessional douche backstage.
Recently watching summerslam 96 i saw how he screamed at vader for missing a cue and stomped on his face...Jim Cornette told a story in an interview about how vader was crying backstage after wrestling shawn one night because shawn got angry at him during a match for pulling his hair and grabbed him in a rest hold and whispers about he's going to get him fired if he dares do that again.
Im sure there have been alot of stories about HBK's behaviour during those days....some well known others not so much.
Anyone know of any more unprofessional shawn michaels stories??

Best story ever. Undertaker put the fear of God in HBK. Probably what lead to him being born again, fear of the Undertaker.

Ha...yeah this has to be one of the best backstage stories in wrestling...i wish there was a reconstruction of it somewhere! Has taker ever talked about it openly or has it just been talked about by other wrestlers?

Ha...yeah this has to be one of the best backstage stories in wrestling...i wish there was a reconstruction of it somewhere! Has taker ever talked about it openly or has it just been talked about by other wrestlers? Taker talked about it on Off the Record in 2002. He didn't mention the taping of the fists, though. But he did mention HBK not wanting to job to Austin, and how if HBK didn't do the right thing it would have been a very long night for Shawn. It's also kind of touched on in the "Heartbreak and Triumph" DVD, where Hunter mentions HBK showing up during the Raw/Nitro telecast, and he was just pilled out of his mind. Trips mentions that Taker just looked at him with a "Can you believe this?" look on his face, and at that point Taker had had it with Shawn. Taker was fed up with Shawn at that time. HBK made VADER cry? lol that's a good one. Found that hard to beleive too...the interview with Jim Cornette on why vader never made it in the WWE is on youtube...he talks about it on there. I find it believable. Foley even puts over that Vader is like a big teddy bear. He may look like a mean guy, but he's an extremely nice guy. Foley mentions Vader apologizing profusely for Foley's ear being ripped off, even though it was through no fault of Vader. Also Vader crying when a jobber took the power bomb wrong and broke his back.

Think i was suprised by the vader crying story because i remember that story about vader, upon hearing that brian pillman had died said "we can think about that later ...i need a f'n finish to my match" so something similar...i used to think he was heartless...but i guess that could be because he didn't like pillman...

Honestly, I always chalked it up to "the show must go on" mentality a lot of performers have.

Anyone? more or less version- HBK didn;t want to drop the belt to austin at wrestlemania and was having a fit backstage. Taker looked at him and said something to the effect of "you'd better change your mind about that and do the right thing before i'm done taping my fists or we'll have a problem." HBK decides to drop the belt to Austin. probably not 100% accurate but gets the idea across

One favorite one of mine is how after the Hogan match he supposedly threw a fit because of having to feud with Chris Masters.
Story says he apologized right afterward, but still amused by it.

I thought he threw a fit because the original plan was for a Hogan/HBK rematch which HBK would win but Hogan changed it to just the one match?

Instead he spoke about it in general terms ( kind of "It would be in Shawn's best interest to go out there and drop that belt..."), at a time when Triple H and Chyna "happened" to be within earshot.

On the "Heartbreak and Triumph" DVD, there's actual footage of his tantrum at the post-WM 14 press conference.

Or possibly was throwing the fit because he was wrestling Chris Masters instead of Hulk Hogan, I dunno. Plus side, that's the only match from Unforgiven 2005 I can remember offhand. Other than Cena / Angle I think going to one of a million DQs. God, that feud sucked - Cena won by DQ every week, then the feud ended when Shawn Michaels saved Cena's ass for no reason at New Year's Revolution.

To be fair, I think even a guy like Kane, upon being told his next PPV opponent had been changed from Hulk Hogan to Chris Masters, would probably be like "WTF?"

I remember a story where he tried to make an ass out of Ken Shamrock by calling out his moves during the match loud enough that people could hear him. I think the only reason Shamrock didn't do anything is because he had no idea what was going on. Then there was the time where he along with Triple H tried to bury the Rock back when he was IC champion.
